I want to say I really really appreciate you being so honest and real about your business and booths! I think most of us artist struggle with imposter syndrome and your transparency at conventions and with your business is so nice💜
Thanks so much for watching and for your comment!
this randomly came up on my recommended, i appreciate the transparency and its interesting to hear about your business! rooting for you!
I appreciate your comment!! Thanks for watching 🙏🏻💛
I love corgis! I went to Ai-Kon last year but I must have missed your shop. If you're coming back this year, I'll try and buy something!
HAHA no worries, the artist alley is HUGE! Hope to see you at my table next month!
Congratulations! Having high ticket items does help in bigger $$$. Also, 👍 on vacuum sealing items. I like watching market/cons/craft fair videos. And I've been thinking to myself, If I were a vendor, I would vacuum seal items in order to save space.
Vacuum sealing has been such a blessing! Definitely worth the $50 purchase!
I only got recommended this now but I'm glad you were able to make your money back and then some. I remember seeing your table and really wanting to get something but my budget isn't the greatest😔 But if I see you again this year I'll make sure to pick something up :]
Aw thank you so much! This is such a sweet comment! Don't worry about purchasing, I know money has been tight for everyone. Your support and kind message is plenty for me! I will be back again this year at Ai-Kon, stop by and say hello! :)
I'm just seeing this now but thank you for making this vlog!! I was cosplaying at Ai-kon 2023 so it's really cool to come across a vlog of someone else who was there! I'm considering becoming a vendor myself in the future so this video was very informative on what that experience might be like :)
Aww thank you! I hope you had fun as an attendee. :) I really love Ai-Kon, the vibes are immaculate and Winnipeg locals are very sweet. Will you be coming this year?
@@littlecorgo Absolutely, it was so fun that it was the highlight of my entire year!! I am for sure coming again this year (I will be in a hijabi cosplay as Byleth from Fire Emblem) so I look forward to checking out your booth if you are also coming again! :)
@@foreverhelloween3569 We'll be back this summer! See you in a couple weeks. :)
This was very informative, thank you for sharing! Very interesting to hear the Vancouver/Winnipeg differences. I wonder if it will be helpful to contact local artists to help you gauge the items to bring better
The regional and city differences is really interesting to see! I've started travelling to other places for events, and my best sellers are all over the place, it's strange!
Love thiiiis, you're a CZcams natural 😌 I'm so happy this con was great for you, you're killing it!!
My biggest fan! LOOL thank you so much
congrats!!
Please go to aikon again sometime!!
I will be back this July!!
I love your art! I’m not a huge corgi fan but I will try out your stationery. It looks high quality. Keep up the great work!!!!!
I'm glad you had a great time at the convention. I bought one of your sweaters (the corgi behind/beige sweater) and I LOVE it. One of my favourites and great quality. I hope to buy more when you pass by here at winnipeg again
Aw, thank you so much for supporting my shop and for your comment!! Really happy to hear the sweater is treating you well 💛 I may be back for Winnipeg Comic Con, still deciding!!
what a great watch!! the first travel con experience seems like such a scary thing to me, this video really helped! 🤗👍🌸
Thanks so much for taking the time to watch! It's definitely scary, but now that I've gone through it, it's pretty similar to going to a local event... but you're spending more money, and stuffing your luggages. 🤣
Thank you so much for sharing your experience at the event! This is probably more helpful to a lot of us small business owners than you think! Thanks for being honest and transparent showing the ups and downs. You did amazing and I’m sure if you could of fit more inventory it would of been great but don’t beat yourself up about that. Traveling to market events is hard when you’re limited what you can bring. Hopefully those people who didn’t purchase at the event will purchase online! ❤❤
Thanks so much for your thoughtful message, and for taking the time to watch!! ❤❤
This is a great vlog! Doesn't feel like your first one :D Thank you for the transparency, it's interesting to hear how people do at these events (I did 3 artist alleys (2018-2019) with a limited selection of items...too limited. Oops. I only made back my expenses at one event, but I was doing it for fun versus as my main form of income. I've been tempted to go back, but I'm too scrambled at this point xD; Maybe someday.)
Good luck with your future endeavors! Sounds like things are going well :D
Aw thank you! I used to do random vlogs on Snapchat for my personal friends, so I guess that's where it came from 😂 Thanks for sharing your personal experience, seems like you had fun! Artist alleys will always be there whenever you want to pick it back up.
LOVE THE VLOG!!!
Thanks for taking time out of your day to watch!! 💛💛
love this!! great first video

I’m obsessed with you 😩 my fav vlogger…

Thanks so much for watching!! I appreciate you 💛
Enjoyed the vlog. Hoping for more!
Thanks so much for watching!! Hoping to put out more similar content soon. :)
thanks for sharing
As a Corgi owner and Dog crazy lady you should totally look into go selling at a Dog Show or even a Corgi Community event. ^.^
I would buy all your stuff If I saw your things.
Aw thank you! I've been considering going to local Corgi events, but surprisingly there's not many, or I just missed all of them.. HAHA
Great vlog. Thank you for sharing. I am just getting started and my goal is to go to some cons next year. I think I will have to add this one to my list.
Thanks for watching, best of luck with your cons next year! They're super fun :)
Thank you for breaking down everything in the costs and revenue! You have really great tips and things to keep in mind for other people who are looking in to getting into artist alley - especially liked the hot tip about vacuum seal packing, and remembering to count pet care into the costs❤
I've tried tabling at an artist alley a month ago, and I made table back, but the profits were modest. Do you have any suggestions for people who are just starting out?
Thanks so much for your comment!! I'd love to make a video sharing my suggestions and tips, so keep an eye out for that!
omg i remember you at ai kon!!!
Aw that's so awesome to hear! I'll be back again this summer, are you attending?!
@@littlecorgo I am! I can’t wait to see you guys again!!
@@huyn_ebuns Ahh!! See you!! I'm super stoked haha
Hello❤ new subbie here 💗🥰
Hello!!!
いいね😊日本🇯🇵から
Dang! You've made more money in one convention than I have my entire convention run! UK conventions are rubbish!
I think it definitely depends on the conventions you go to, and what you sell! I've had my fair share of bad markets and events.
thats crazy you made 7k cad i been an artist with ai kon for years normally i would rack in under 1k lol well you sell clothing and stuff so thats why you made 7k congrats homie :D
Agreed, 7k is definitely a lot of revenue, but there's lots of expenses that I didn't talk about as well! And I have higher ticketed items aka apparel. :)
@@littlecorgo glad there more filipino content creators to get there name out there I know we got a winterfest next year but its just 1 day thing its kind of worth it depends travels and shit like that to me its kind of worth it as a local artist because its extra money if I get accepted to fan expo Vancouver
@@UsagiENI’m not Filipino hahah 😅
@@littlecorgo lol my bad
@@littlecorgo ooopppsss... That's my first impression as well when YT recommended your video. And the reason I clicked and subscribed. 😅
