A student's view of life at Sussex

ITS 2024 and I am heading to Sussex for an MSC in artificial intelligence and adaptive systems for September 2024 intake. I am so excited to be there at Sussex and in Brighton. I wish they could remake this documentary in 2024

How was the course
It is such a good video! I'm from Moldova, and i think i'll apply next year to UK, and definitely i'll choose Sussex.
Campus TV is not a recent idea.
When LWT (or was it Thames) went from monochrome (b/w) to colour in 1968 Lord Attenborough (director of the TV company and Uni Chancellor ) delivered the whole Black/White studio to the university. His son was in the same cohort as me (1969-72) and I was in the 'club' that ran the station. It was only closed circuit but quite professional, I did a sports film ( BolexH16 film ) that was put through the telecine machine interspersed with live studio interviews. TV in those days was basically run by the engineers.
When BBC TV centre opened it had seven studio cameras ! We had three.
Of course in those days there were no actual university media courses.
I'm coming here in a month! Already falling in love with the place and I've only been there on two Open days! Can't wait!

No, it's just the same thing that everyone who is from near London does. People ask me "where are you from?" and I say "Epping", then add "near London". It still sounds stupid because Epping is really in Essex not London, however it is on the end of the London tube map. The further away I get I end up just saying that I'm from London.
However, getting mixed up between areas of the country is quite stupid- Hertfordshire and London. Just say one of them.

Been thinking the same, and I still want to go to Sussex. They're definitely not Oxbridge and they're not pretending otherwise. But yeah I wish they picked some of the more eloquent ones for this interview.
