There's always gonna be large people on this earth, besides, Hollywood and TV need L/XL actors. Imagine how odd TV/film would be of we didn't have XL actors. I recently found the fat kid in IT (2017) to be my favourite of the cast.

Dennis, Fat shaming breaks people down. It does NOT save lives. That is so misguided.
You obviously have no idea what it's like being judged on your looks so harshly. It does not inspire or motivate. Very often it has the opposite affect and in the cases where people do choose to lose weight because they've been treated like dirt, they do it for the wrong reasons and in unhealthy ways.
Please rethink this.

Motivation by shame means they're doing it to get the shaming to stop, so with something like weight loss, which is healthiest when done slowly over a very extended period of time, the lack of immediate progress means continuing to shame someone who is already trying is pretty much the worst thing you could do. Nobody sticks with something that isn't having the desired effect.
If you _actually_ care about someone's health and not their appearance, as these fat-shamers always claim to, then the right thing to do is encourage every attempt someone is making to live healthier, so they will feel good about themselves and keep up the effort, instead of jumping from one awful 'miracle diet' to another in the hopes of finding - well - a miracle.
Y'all probably think it's good for everybody to get a trophy too.

I'm a fan of Chrissy Metz and of This Is Us. Chrissy talks about how she is proud to be a big woman and wants to empower other large women. At this point though she is only promoting that being this large is okay. I'm all for women embracing there curves and spreading positively but if she dosent lose some of the weight soon she might not be around to do the things she loves! Really hope that she is able to get on top of her health before it is too late!!

I’m not proud of my weight whatsoever. I’ve had surgeries and been in the hospital the last few years. I’ve been under doctors orders to take it easy and not exert myself. However, when I sit down you can still see my knees. I don’t want this no-name to be ashamed of herself, but I don’t think anyone will take her seriously until she isn’t about to die. There are several overweight actors and actresses out there and most of them are trying to lose a little weight if they want to stay relevant. Wish you the best of luck. Don’t be a total loser like Hillary Clinton.

Here's what I think, for what it's worth : I am not going to diss someone for being ridiculously obese. This is a problem and a choice, but it's not my right to judge. That being said, I see nothing really special about this person. And being enormous should not get you an Emmy. Sorry.

The size does take your attention when I consider myself big I'm 6 ft 215 lbs that's downright skinny she's morbid it's a huge health risk you have to work to be that side 5000 calories a day. Get mad at me but I have had to work to not get huge and it's a lot of work to have a good lifestyle like ride a bike hike play tennis play ice hockey. I'm 20 years older than her.
