      Me too mine was 229$ and it was fantastic. People say it takes anything after 500 rounds but mine takes the average buckshot just fine after just about three boxes of hot ammo. It shoots everything but light bird shot perfectly for me anyways. Quality control must not be the best I hear a lot of bad reviews on this gun but mine has been flawless in terms of service regular wear on parts it’s the polymer feed ramps for me that show the most wear but it’s expected wear. It’s also shotgun shells plastic on plastic is less of a deal if this was brass ammo I would not have bought this gun. Also Maybe I did cycle my action whenever I was bored and also let the bolt be open my first month I bought it. That seriously helped the break in period. Hope this helps thanks

    Love this gun. Slap a light and optic on this and I’m golden. I don’t know where I’m gonna mount a sling yet but that’s not a big deal to me necessarily this is only for home defense and defense on my property anyways. I always have my carry gun and then I have this. It’s one of those “I don’t care if I break it because I have my pistol and this was 229$” but I treat it great and it treats me fantastic.

  • @just-got-here5594
    @just-got-here5594 Před 3 lety +21

    The feed issue could be from the shells deforming from being left in the magazine to long, thats a downside to box mag feed shotguns. As far as the failure to eject, you can try running any shell over 1,250 fps and high brass shells. Also, what I did for my Citadel RSS1 12g ( Vepr 12g clone) is I oiled the bolt and the rails that it runs on then I manually worked the bolt back and forward for about two days 20 minutes each day to shorten the break-in period

    • @rik4369
      @rik4369 Před 2 lety +2

      There's a gun manufacturer in Arizona who makes two 12 gauge double barrel black powder pistols that are badass. The 6 inch version is the "Diablo" and the 8.5 inch name I don't remember. I have to admit, the intimidation factor that these two pistols radiate, is stunning. What it would take to have these pistols be able to fire standard 12 ga rounds, if at all, is outside of my wheelhouse. For all I know, the types of steel used, heat treatment, and tensile strength, may not even be capable of withstanding the pressure of modern 12 ga rounds. If this is the case, maybe the shorty rounds could potentially be a more viable option.

    It's a shame the good quality magazines are so ridiculously hard to find and pricey for such a common AR12. Because my local ranges don't know how to set up a proper backstop, I've been limited to shooting slugs out of mine. Sterling Tornados rated at 1460 fps which is just fine. The operating spring installed on these things is a gamble. Some are 'light' and others are 'heavy' but it's a good practice among owners to lock the bolt back and leave it there for a few weeks to loosen up but personally I think that's an old wives tale but still did it just to eliminate any funny business when it was time to hit the range. Not a single hiccup.

    Hey there again from Central WY!
    I REALLY wish you'd have taken time to speak to how you liked/disliked the TRIGGER! I wanted also to know if the trigger is replaceable; ie, since the other controls are 'AR', is the trigger also 'AR'?
    Having neck issues (3 compressions), can the Buttpad be taken off and a different one (ie, Limbsaver, et al) put on, OR does the Buttpad allow for Additions to be made, so the Length of Pull can be adjusted?
    Lastly, I was hoping you'd offer up your opinion on the Bullpup vs this Tactical Model: which would you prefer from a Home Defense/Truck Defense/Tactical perspective?
    Thanks for another great review; despite the missing elements (from my P.O.V. missing), the Quality of your reviews is why I KEEP recommending your channel to family, friends, and those I meet online and in person!
    Keep up the great work!
    Cheers from the Oil Patch in Central WY

    Bottom line is, don't bet your life on Turkish made junk. Use it as a fun range day gun. If affordable is what you need go with a Mossberg pump. Their Maverick 88 is dirt cheap and works, 500 and 590 a little more. Or opt for an older used Rem 870.
    In an autoloader for personal/home defense stick with what works. That's going to be Benelli M2 or M4, Beretta 1301 or Mossberg 930. They cost a whole lot more but won't fail you in a life or death situation. That's really the only criteria that matters with a personal defense gun.
