- I've taught a few clinics this year in preparation for these auditions so I decided to upload this recording to provide younger players with a guide on how a professional tubist may approach it. This is by no means a perfect recording or take, but hopefully it can serve as a strong guide.
Email me at OwenHansNC@gmail.com with any questions or to set up tuba lessons remotely or in Greenville, NC! - Hry
Been playing tuba since 2015 when I was in middle school. You’re gonna go far dude, hell, you’ll be better than I am right now in like a year LOL. Keep up the good work big man
If he's gonna be better than you in a year, then you must really suck.
its called shifts in passion and marching band ruining tone. long ways for results.@@jetsettech8804

Nice sound, well delivered.
Bro I’m a bass trombonist (senior in high school) and you have an incredibly beautiful sound. I wish more tuba players could play this beautiful
Very very nice tone!
This is the sound I aspire for
Is there a transposition for Cimbasso in F?
Cimbasso doesn't transpose. You have to learn new fingerings.
What’s the name of this piece
I don't believe it has a name, but you can find it on the NC Bandmasters website if you are trying to find the sheet music!
@@owenhans ok thanks
is that an F tuba?
CC tuba.
This is an Eastman EBC836s CC tuba!
I have a suggestion as a tuba player, try to keep your cheeks tight and dont blow them up.
He's legit a professional tubist
He sounds worse because of his recording equipment, you can hear he has very bright dark tone but that tone is ruined by whatever he recorded on, I have had to deal with the exact same thing so Its easy to tell why he sounds very tight even though hes a professional.
