After we moved to the U.S. from the U.K., my parents bought a house in Gardena in a neighborhood on 132nd and Western. We lived there for 30 years. I later bought my first house in Long Beach then I later moved to Houston, TX but I do miss Gardena. Great city.
Crazy man just scrolling through comments on this video and found yours. I grew up on 146th and Western 96-05
Galveston Beach makes you miss Redondo Beach huh lol Gulf of Mexico ocean looks like Arizona Green Tea in Corpus & Galveston.

Mark Davidson Some stores were looted at the pike in Long Beach. My dad likes to buy some groceries in Gardena.
My hometown, Gardena!!! I miss this town so much 😔 I knew homies from Gx13 and also Paybacc, I lived on 132nd & Vermont. I joined the army not so long ago and have never been away for so long ☹️

Been in Gardena for 6 years. Grew up in Venice in the 80’s/earl 90’s. Really, i feel venice was worse back in the day. I live in a nice little pocket neighborhood next to the 110. Fairly safe. But we do hear the shootings. Grew up around that. Use to it. Just glad its not in our neighborhood

I grew up as a little kid in Gardena, until I was 6. Moved to Torrance in 1998. Gardena was a little bad in the 90s, I remember hearing car alarms every night. But the city is much better now

OMG, I haven't heard of Dragnet in YEARRRRRSSS. That gang is probably long defunct. I am close to 40 years old now and the last time I heard of Dragnet was the '90s when I was in middle school at Henry Clay. I didn't go to high school in the Gardena area so my only memories of the Dragnet name was my middle school days. If I am approaching 40, then those guys in Dragnet are in their 50s and 60s and yeah, they are too old to bang and that legacy didn't carry over. But then again I'm not a teen so I have no clue if Dragnet is still active. Hopefully, not.
