my husband and I sing this beautiful song daily. He has been diagnosed with dementia and he still can recall this song. We always end up crying.......Thank you for sharing...Your voice is such a gift! We will continue to sing this Amazing song of God's love till the end...

Perfect picture of how Amazing Grace spans the generational gap. No matter how old you are, where you’re from or where you’ve been, what you’ve done etc, God’s grace is truly amazing.
It's never about age, gender, race or color. It's just about praising the Lord...... together.
I'm an Atheist since birth 70 years ago, and sing in a gospel choir as vigorously and passionately as any any occasion my deluded faithful companions.

I once was lost but now I'm found. Together in one voice, Hallelujah.
That is so beautiful. Both voices. A couple of days before my dad died I was with him in his hospital room. He had Parkinsons and Congestive heart failure. He was so weak and couldn't eat, drink or talk. I gave him a teaspoon of water and said "daddy, do you want me to sing to you ?" He nodded yes and as I softly sang Amazing Grace he had tears rolling down his face. That was the last time I saw him alive.

There is nothing sweeter than the voices of the older saints of God singing because they believe what they are singing 🎶 I miss hearing my daddy sing Higher Ground, but I know he's on higher ground with Jesus. That precious song makes me cry because I still hear my daddys voice and watch him smile at me when he sang. I love you daddy, save a place for me at the table 🙏🙌🙌🤲
