- Welcome back to another Urban Exploration video! Today I will be showing two more abandoned farm houses. I found these off of google maps and decided to check them out. Today was a hot day and it made me pretty exhausted in the end. I included some nice scenery in the video as well to show how beautiful West Virginia is. I hope you guys enjoy the video!
(Most of these houses will be unexpectedly different, some could be time capsules and some could be empty. Please be aware that I show these just to acknowledge their history and appearance. )
Love the old details of that old house where the beekeepers stored their boxes! Wow that old Newell post on the stairs! Wow! I love old places & the details!
A Huge Thank You, for not using the stairs in House #2. Yes, curious, just seeing all the boxes coming thru the 2nd floor plus the flooring at the beginning, Not Safe.. LOL, Love the hand wave's.. Makes one Proud to be Subscribed...
My dad raised bees for a few years in Central TX. He used those same kind of boxes.
Love those old farm houses 🏘️🏡 was it originally a log cabin was that one wall in the living room timbers
Thank you and i look forward to future videos. You have a unique style that is refreshing! Keep making these videos and i will watch.
Thanks! I got plenty of more videos to come 👍
I love hoe green that country is. My hubby is from WV. I've only been there once, in the Ripley area.
That's insane so many bee boxes!!!!
Very cool thanks for sgaring
When you walked in and all the bee box's I thought it was going to turn into a horror movie
Please be careful of old wells and underground cisterns walking around in high weeds like that. Otherwise love your content! ❤
my eyes are pealed, thanks! 👍
And septic tanks!
That’s stove pipe from heater or stove from downstairs.
Was that old linoleum upstairs an old rosé pattern? Oh and THANK YOU for NOT adding weird music to your video, natural sounds in the background are soo much nicer , then weird music !
Definitely an apiary, I worked with bees for two summers in 4-H. I'll stick with livestock, they never stung, lol.
thanks, i was wondering what those were called. im not sure why they’re in an abandoned house in the middle of nowhere too!
@@zcriix WV is a good place for bee keeping. The owner probably took his combs to someone else to process by the looks of what he had. Like sharecropping, the property owner takes the majority of the profit after the processer jars the honey. Just like hickory and maple sap tappers take their raw product to processers to make syrup. I do the same with my goat's milk, send it out raw and get a check from the USDA certified processor. I drink it raw, only lasts a day or two though. Fresh from the udder over an ice cube is best! Most people have never tasted fresh food as farmers know it. Most everything we eat during the season was walking around or on a vine just a few hours before we eat it.
Not to be a Mother Hen, but since I’m old explorer from the days before cellphones etc,
( you probably do this already, but just in case) PLEASE announce yourself when you first walk in- so IF there is someone( or an animal ) inside. Just a thought! Be safe & Thanks for doing this, coz I can’t do it anymore. Also- please say “you are just filming” -so you don’t scare the sh-t out of them, you don’t wanna get shot at! - Just a piece of advice from someone who walked before you. A beekeeper was very busy at one time!
The first house kitchen cabinets look from the 1970's. The bathroom vanity cabinet looks like from the 1980's. Most likely the upper stairs bedroom with the toilet. Was for someone who was ill and couldn't get around. The Sylvania looks like 19 inch Solid State Color TV. Most likely from the 1980's. The second house I never seen one full beehive boxes.
I am in Shinnston Wv and it sure is humid
Who was the owns of the house 🏡. That is a nice house 🏡
Hi just watch your video but I’m disappointed that you didn’t go in the basement
Can you go back and show us the basement please and thank you for your time Carmen
Snakes galore I bet. Careful.
Spooky
You sound like you're from Maryland. Am I right?
nah I’m from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but I’ve been to Maryland several times though. good guess!
@@zcriix That was my second guess. The word old always sounds like owed in that area. Lol! I have family in Philly and near Bethesda.
Waiting for the day you start bring ouija boards to these😈
I know a lot of scarier places than these houses but that’s in my to do list. I might buy a ouija board but im not tryna end up missing for a week 😂
Let's not.
Good video.I just found your channel and I look forward to more adventures.
thanks!
Me too!
