How to make PAPER OWL | DIY toilet paper roll craft ideas

His body is made of toilet paper rolls. His nose and legs are made from modeling clay. For his eyes I just used nail polish, but if I had resin I would have used it.
Tip - working with modeling clay - use water to make it stick together! and use water to make it softer if it starts to dry. And of course after use close bag very tightly. You can even put it in air tight container.
Materials that I've used: toilet paper rolls (don't have exact number, but maybe max 15), air hardening modeling clay, white universal glue (you can use hot glue), acrylic paint, spray paint, clear nail polish, tweezers, tool to form modeling clay, wood sticks.

Holy Toilet Paper!!!🤯!!! Your creativity is on a different level!!! To look at a handful of cardboard toilet paper rolls & say “Hey, I think that looks like an owl” is just beyond...
Before I get rid of things I think if I can use them in my art. If not they go to the trash bin, but if I have an idea they stay. I'll give you a hint. My next project which I'm editing now includes those plastic square things that hold your bread 😄
I don’t know what plastic things you are talking about as I store my bread in my fridge so it lasts longer, but I’m definitely intrigued!! And I do the same as you with art supplies. I try to use items for more than one purpose if possible, but my favorite has to be those plastic containers that Crystal Light drink packets come in..I use them to make stencils, craft & paint storage, fluid paint pours, sculptures, vases, etc. I used have about 100 empty toilet paper & paper towel rolls each, but my hubby decided to get rid of them when I had my stroke so he’d have some space in the office.😔 If I knew someone to donate them to that’d use them for art like you, I would have!! Please keep up the amazing work you do & continue looking at everything in life for what it is and for what it can become!!!
