We have a Prospector 500 that cost (at the time) $3,000. I've said it multiple times that it's overkill for detailing. It's made for residential cleaning but have never used it in a house. It's awesome but 1) it will take up a lot more space in your van. 2) You have to get a reel for the hose because you don't want to keep on taking it down/up on mobile jobs. 3) Buy a ramp for your van to bring the extractor down for residential homes. 4) You will need a bigger/stronger generator to run the machine. They draw a lot of power. A bigger generator, plus reel, plus bigger extractor means a lot more space is being taken up. 5) When connecting it to a home, you have to use different circuits. If it's used on the same one, you'll most likely trip the breaker.

"suggestion" get a small 3 to 4 ft table that's foldable and easily stored in the van. And when you're doing those removable carpets do it on top of that. Easier on your knees and your back, plus looks a bit more professional. Also you could wrap it on the sides with the company name.

I have a mytee escape and twin hot turbo... It was my everyday machine. Now it's my backup. Mytee is koo, but when you get into their powerful equipment, their wires start to burn and you gotta keep an eye out and replace the wires/terminals. As long as you do that, you're good

I have the same machine! I use it for carpet and vehicles. I got a 4 jet wand. Should probably use a 2 jet as the pressure is not great but still gets residential jobs done and of course auto detailing which this model was made for anyways. Have you had a problem with vapor lock or priming the pump yet? I do sometimes if I use the heater. I use a quick connect adapter to bleed off the trapped pressure. Most of the time I can get away with just hot water and not even use the heater.

The instructions tell you to not use the heated spray nozzle constantly. You would press the solution spray nozzle as you pull the tool towards you, never lift tool off surface unless moving to whole new area, when you stop pulling towards you let go of solution nozzle to stop spraying solution, now push the tool back away from you to do a dry pass to suck up remaining water/dirt/solution. You will push away at a slight angle with some overlap of previous pull creating a noticeable V pattern on surface. This process of on/off the trigger as you work allows it to quickly reheat new hot solution in the tank. You will not run out of hot water using this method even on the smallest Mytee 300H 1 gallon model unless the solution tank runs dry. Same method is used in home carpet hot water extraction. They are not pulling the solution trigger the entire time. Its mythodical on as they pull towards them, then off as they push away from themselves slightly overlappjng prior pull.

Good idea . Only problem with the unit he has doesn't have dual motors so @ 50ft his suction wouldn't be as efficient. Just have to upgrade his carpet extractor then upgrade his hoses

@TheSlickguy01 yes he can do that but before I had my ninja warrior 500psi I had a 50ft hose on my 8070 mytee and works fine.... reason I upgraded to the 500psi I have now it's because I do lots of houses carpet now

Dude try the Tornador with the canister for spot treating. It’s a game changer I’m surprised not many do this. It’s literally crazy. It’s the best spot treater ever. Better than steam even the chief steamer. You just gotta know how to do it. And it’s much safer than steamers. I still use extractor but what’s left behind, I use Tornador with the canister. Specifically the Tornador classic. Bc it pulsates better than the Tornador black with the metal tube. Sure you gotta change out the tube and cone but that’s only 20$ kit

I see now money your videos. You said you were the first 12 get one of these machines i' I'm almost 60 years old. I own a cleaning company way back when in Boston. I started detailing when I was in my 20s.
Can I always use that carpet? Extra is the most powerful ones. They do the job right? Just think about it if your car is almost like your house. You got a rug in your car. You got a rug in your house. So why not just go by the chemicals over at a cleaning supplier? Because they are cheaper and better. Just go to a commercial cleaning supply company and go see their prices. Because they need to have strong chemicals to clean people's homes. Couches restaurants all those things. So you can use it in your car. Cuz people always ask me. When they come and see their car. Wow, I can't believe it looks like factory when I first bought it. Personally, I'm an old timer and I don't like watching you. Tubers, find a cell a product just to make points for there. Videos, they make just be an awesome detailer. And do the best you can and you're customers who will always come back.
