Dont know why people are acting like Dying Fetus is a new discovered band.
They ve been slaughtering for years now. One of the greatest of all time.
Yeah, they've been active since 1991.
Death metal legends
Kerry Holt Yup, formed in ‘91, first album in ‘96. Currently got 8 badass albums under their belts
Legends with Internal Bleeding 🤘
these guys are unbelievably good musicians
+Robert Wagner Hahaha, true.
amazing musicians.
Greatest Death Metal band I've ever seen live.
I can say they've even beaten out Cannibal Corpse in terms of an insane live performance.
I would agree on these fuckers being one of the best live performers. Dying Fetus and Nile, sorry but CC ain't got shit on either.
@@brandoncannady3860 cleanest sound like disc in live i'm going to say Dying Fetus was the best!

every memeber of this band is just an absolute savage metal beast.
Best live band that exists... I feel like John Gallagher was gaining power as the show went on. Dude is a god dang prophet. Talk about vision and ability and talent... Speechless..
"Pissing in the mainstream" hits so hard and awesome. It is probably my favorite in this video.
Trey is such a fucking sick legend man!
That guy plays w/ ankle weights on for the entire duration of the show, keeps the speed through the roof on all songs in the set and beats the living crap out of his kit with such a precision that is unmatched if you ask me. On top of that he riles up the crowd before a breakdown/fast thrashy part as well.
Those are actually ankle bands (similar to wrist bands).
trey williams is a savage. mind = blown.
Thanks to this band - my landscaping career is easier - this shit gets me through the hot days lol.
I bet it does it get me through WAR
How am I meant to tell my parents that I want to see these guys, Goatwhore, Malevolence and Fallujah. Considering my dad thinks that Green Day are "a bit extreme", bands with those names are going to be a tough sell _-_
bring him with you as a surprise
Just do it
I didn't go :(((((
Was it for summer slaughter?
No, it was last night on their tour in London. I ended up not going, but not for this reason :(
These guys are the Rush of tech death....and that's a compliment, three piece and super tight playing. Amazing 🍻😎
Good call Brother! It is impressive to see bands do difficult music live just as they do in the studio like Dying Fetus & Rush. BTW, they are 2 of my favorite bands.
oh dude, thank you so much for this upload
John is the man! One of my favourite bands to see live,
That drummer is a beast. Inhumanly fast.
+barrysbailbonds All of them are Beasts =)
They are so fucking good live! They sound the same as their studio albums this is incredible!! No other band sounds the same live!
okini Kreator
okini Enslaved
okini nile...
Pig destroyer, nails, despise you, cattle Decap. Lol plenty of metal bands sound great live dude. But ya dying fetus are tighter than a vice live.
MGLA
Their best live perfomance in my opinion. Fuck yeah!
they sound amazing live !
This band is so fucking brutal and at the same time so freaking groovy, can't decide whether to bang my head or get a sledgehammer
Great video. Wish I had been there.
this is insanely awesome
Trey you are amazing!
Thanks for sharing... :)
I agree with the last post. There tempo changes with the crunchy riffs make them a metal heads dream!
One of the best slam DM bands on the scene.
I remember playing a show here a long time ago.
Amazing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I cannot wait until April 20th
Best 3 piece DM band in the bizz!! Drummer is faster than a fucking machine.
yeah TERROR
Sick show
Stone cold on guitar and Brett the hitman heart on bass 👍🤘
Insane!
Definitely one of the best around. No one comes close.
I want to hear them play the ancient rivalry sometime.
God dammit man, I like this video so much.
I don’t think i’ve heard a drummer play as precise as this
John wearing a Terror shirt? My life is complete
seeing these tonight, gotta feeling i'm coming home with a few bruises.
Killing On Adrenaline live.. SHEESH
And the slowed down ending... so good
God damn these dudes are good
Sick video! What did you record the audio with?
Dying Fetus is SICK. Cryptopsy, specially Graves of our Fathers Live. :D
Sounds amazing. Tightest band evvveeeer.
Dislike bar = My neighbours
I sure will. Heaven is too boring
Cool Guy Dave
wait, i' trying to give a fuck about that......... nah sorry, i can't :)
Nise241190 omg u rekted him so bad that he is below the hell lol good one bro
A lot of bassist get flack for using a pick but let's be honest this guy is an amazing bassist . For the kind of music they play especially with one guitarist a pick will give you a little more attack and a brighter sound . Which helps to also fill a little of the midrange . That a second guitarist with his rig dialed in differently may have done to give that fuller sound ..
No idea who could dislike this. I saw them at Summer Slaughter and hadn't really heard much, and needless to say I just about shat my fucking pants. I've always been more of a thrash and old school death metal guy, but this shit is so fucking heavy how can you not like it?
@26:46 Bringing Back the Glory
They're a 3 piece. Fucking A! That's pretty brutal!!!
Brutal! lml
Hail Dying Fetus !!!!
Fucking killer. Love it that the guitar player is wearing a "Terror" shirt.
+ShaunJon27721 He's name is John Gallagher the Master Mind of Dying Fetus
10:20 best song ever
Was that some tapping on the bass? Sick!
my goodness, a fight seems to have broken out in the crowd!
super
The drummer aint bullshiting.
full Brutality !
Yeah... I live in Sweden and this bar in NY could as well be on the fucking moon, but if I ever visit the US i will go there... High quality live recordings! \m/
Fucking great band, the best death grindcore!
Ce groupe c'est une démolition contrôlée !
In some parts I have Napalm Death´s harmony coruption LP in Memorie .Awesome !
+Vielreisender Deutscher yeah, some of Fetus's stuff...especially their older material had a bit of a Hardcore/Grindcore vibe (hence why it's sometimes referred to as 'Deathgrind'.) their newer material is pretty straight Brutal Death metal though.....also some of the more simplistic Rhythmic parts aren't too dissimilar from Exhorder's work in the early 90s. I'd throw Pantera here but Dying Fetus were already playing the sound in 92...the same year Pantera started.
I hope Download makes these guys more bigger.
Wait what? They're playing at download this year? O.o
yea because of a internet campaign #WhyNotDyingFetus? started when Avenged sevenfold were announced to headline.
Oh, didn't know that haha thanks. I think they deserve a little more attention, pretty sure they have been playing longer than a7x, like early 90s maybe late 80s???
download runs on popularity as A7X are at huge peak in their popularity with becoming more radio friendly and mainstream band so it's probably the reason why they are headlining over bands like a7x playing, so when the download selectors saw that people wanted dying fetus they got them in. Which is great and they definitely deserve this. Just my whole opinion on it.
Alex Zapata I dont think late 80's
they are in their late 20's or early 30s now lol ...
Playlist please)
Is it just me or do I hear a little thrash mix in there, so fucking awesome;)
+MadMar83 Sort of, it'd be more accurate to suggest that Thrash is a component of Death metal....although this style of Death metal is so far gone that Thrash, Crust and Speed metal are barely even recognizable in the music.
Can't tell if his bass is shorter scale or if he's just massive
What's the second to last sing they play? (The one immedietly before KYM/RYD
PIssing in the Mainstream
Los putos amos❤️
finally, years ago sean put a face that makes fun, know he has a kick ass expression, this band is getting bigger and bigger in all aspects, i wish i could watch them in summer slaughter
now*
❤❤❤❤❤❤one heart one dying fetus
These guys are amazing . Btw TERROR = real HARDCORE represented at a Dying Fetus show.
DF: brutal🤘
If not mistaken dying fetus is on that album
Are you in the comments talking to yourself like a schizo? Lol
Saw these guys the next day literally 10 people there on new years eve so sad
Harford ct the webster theater
Yea the webster sucks at promoting even though there Owned by the pallidium
I was there too, I was shocked at how many people were there. Good show though, didn't let the amount of people effect the show at all imo
It was lame the sound for ib was totally awful but I got a free CD from Pyrexia so it was a good time
BRUTALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL DESGRAÇAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
kkkkkkkkkk
Can't wait for Cardiff
Goddamn fucking robot man these guys are beast!'\m/
Yoooooo. 9 min
50 minutes video and barely 20 seconds of that awesome drummer.
St. Fetus live. Eponymous coincidence.
Death is just the beginning 2
awesome that hes wearing a terror shirt!
Hell yeah! Dying Fetus and Terror are 2 of my all time favorite bands
What the hell is that skull logo on the banner behind Trey?
I have no clue, but I will worship it.
Gaynessofuranus it's the logo for the bar they're playing at
Yeah, St. vitus bar logo

Dying fetus é foda ...

rockin a terror shirt thats whats up.
Fuck yeah these guys are even more brutal than nile !
Nile's live shows are boring as fuck. No other death metal band is able to dominate the stage/venue like DF does. Maybe along with Suffocation with Frank on the vox.
that fucking terror shirt
Fucking awesome video man. Pure brutality.
Dislikes = The Dog

Whats the song at 26.51?
+Madan Kumar Bringing Back The Glory (Next Step Up cover)
+BRUTAL 138 thanks, buddy...original song is badass too..gotta listen to more of that band!
Do hardcore kids know that death metal and slam essentially wrote the playbook for breakdowns and heavy parts?
Hardcore has nothing to do with "breakdowns and heavy parts" , that's some bullshit dreamt up by these piss ant kids who don't have a clue what the fuck hardcore punk is son.
Gunz4Hire187 And the angry know it all hath trolled!
cool story bro
+St. Macarius Hardcore punk has absolutely nothing to do with breakdowns or 'heavy parts'. Riffs like at 3:58 are about as close to Dying Fetus come to having anything to do with hardcore punk (obviously their older material had far more in common with Hardcore.)
I think what you're confusing here is Deathcore and Metalcore/Melodic Metalcore...maybe even Groove metal as well. Deathcore actually derives from music like Fetus's and Suffocations (It's sort of like a perversion/mutation of it....mixing in elements from the NWOAHM.)
Metalcore is harder to define because of two obviously different...waves? If you will. In the early 90s early Metalcore tended to sound sort of like a Thrash/Death metal mixture with some Crust thrown on top.....but after 1995 you instead tend to hear Pantera clones (like Hatebreed and Earth Crisis, Lamb of God...etc.etc.) The music isn't quite as insultingly one minded as Pantera's...as standard Metalcore tends to be a bit more dynamic...and complex....but very similar.
The Metalcore you're probably used to is 'Melodic Metalcore'....basically a perversion/rip off of Melodic Death metal....basically a way for bands to attempt to pass themselves off as 'real metal' while throwing NWOAHM/Mainstream elements in the music....OR another way of looking at it is bands wanted to play Melodic Death metal but looking for a wider/larger audience.
Bottom line, these 'heavy parts' have nothing really to do with Hardcore punk. Hardcore punk is the basis for Thrash, Crust, Grindcore, Crossover and arguably Black metal (true Black metal is very similar to Crust.)......and somewhat of a relationship with early Death metal, particularly some of the European bands in the late 80s.
7dayspking
Cool story bro
