    Meditation on the move. Thanks for reminding me to get in the zone...not every run, but now and again. A treat from intervals, tempos, hill reps etc to do a zen run and be at one with your surroundings.

      Thanks, Joe, for sharing these sentiments. I really like the Willa Cather quote. While I like doing races, it's the journey to the race where I get most of the enjoyment.

    TY Ralph. I do the run walk run every other day but walk 5 miles on the other days. I am able to achieve the Zen while walking and pretty much lose track of time. I’m going to incorporate your methods on my run days. I’ll let you know how it progresses.💪🏻💪🏻😎
