- We loved our Filipino Feas at the brand-new UNWND Boutique Hotel Camiguin. It was one of the most amazing Filipino dinners we have had. They brought out two huge platters with a variety of meats, seafood, pancit, fish kinilaw (a Filipino type of ceviche), clams, and much more. It all tasted so good. The UNWND Hotel is such a beautiful resort. It has such a chill vibe to it with all the colorful lights, upbeat music, and delicious views. We would love to go back and stay there someday.
Tuasan Falls in Camiguin, Philippines was such a beautiful waterfall. It was incredible how powerful it was as it poured over the lush rainforest. This waterfall, like Katibawasan Falls, is quite powerful as it pounds into the pool below. We enjoyed swimming in the refreshing, clear water.
After swimming at the waterfall, the kids had fun swimming at our hotel.
Camiguin Island is a small island in Northern Mindanao, Philippines, and is beautiful with so much to do. With its 14 volcanos covered in tropical greenery, its beautiful islands and beaches, from its spectacular waterfalls to the coral reefs, is why we say: "Camiguin, Isle Be There!"

If you're still in Camiguin, your next destination should be BUKIDNON, you can make a quick stop at Seven Seas Waterpark and Resort (the kids will enjoy there for sure).
Zamboanga and Davao, etc.

By the way, there were two types of pancít you had there. the egg noodle ones are called pancít Canton, and the one with rice noodles are pancít bihon ("bihon" means "rice noodles"). I'm also glad you like the kinilaw!

13:13 Kinilaw (soaked in vinegar with lemon or calamansi ) that's correct or Sam's also correct it's ceviche. According to history they said that it originated in some Polynesian countries like Palau, Samoa, Kiribati, Fiji etc. they said it originated in Peru.

YOu can actually request to bring home the leftover food, the staff will be glad to pack it for you so you can take it home and continue eating it from there, that's what we Filipinos sometimes do so the food will not go into waste. Anyway, love your video as always. Such a fun, wonderful and beautiful family.

There has been a few improvement I notice on Camiguin since I was there pre pandemic. Maybe it's time to revisit it. UNWND has a boutique hotel in Makati Poblacion, in the "entertainment" district. Glass noodles are vermicelli made from non-wheat ingredients (mung beans etc), technically gluten free. There's a few more places to visit I hope they take you there - sunken cemetery, church ruins, giant clam santuary (huge ones that can fit Grace or JoeJoe), and the stations of the cross on the mountain side (it's a trek). I hope that Camiguin isn't over run by mass tourism and they can preserve the forests which keep the island a few degrees cooler than other islands.
Unwd is top tier restaurant...love the presentation. Might visit them soon too ❤🎉
