Bhai roll back to manual mein bhi hoti hai. Break release kiya to back ayegi hi. Jo bhi ye keh rha hai, usne kabhi gadi hill pr chalai hi nahi. I am from proper hilly area of HP and even any manual car comes back if you are not experienced how to drive on the slopes. I see almost everyday people from planes struggling with their cars when their car stops on sharp slope. They even fail to move on the first gear. When they release break vehicle goes back and stops. Then they take the help of hand break or put stone behind the back wheel:)). So it's not the fault of the vehicle but of the person who is driving.

Sirji, seltos imt diesel hai mera, isme reverse gear pe chadti nai reverse me, solution batayiye please
For inclines, roll back on releasing brake is normal. It does not have hill hold function.
Also on downhill, in manual gears, clutch depression is NOT needed. Moreover, riding break while downhill is also not recommended. Use engine breaking.

Please let me advise if this is in 1st or 2nd gear and car in 35deg slope....
After release of break Car will be going forward or rollback
If u give accelerator it go’s forward and if u stop giving accelerator while on hillside it will rollback either car is in 1st or 2nd gear…

I think 2022 model doesn't hv same problem. It is updated with HAC

Sir isme hill hold control function nahi hai isliye rollback ho rhi hai, even alto 800 would be able to drive thru this slope if accelerated, so it's not a surprise that seltos is doing anything special, hill hold is available in IVT proper auto variant of seltos

In my Kia Seltos Htk plus Diesel IMT,Car holds in place for few sec after releasing break pedal however steep the climb is,give u time to shift ur foot on gas pedal n accelerate ,So no roll back issue..guess its updated feature.

Also Have heard that seltos 1.5 petrol engine of seltos don't give that initial push ( torque) . Does the car take more time for pick up initially. ? And whats your opinion on steep hilly upward turns where car needs more push ?
