Dharamsala: August 11, 2023 - The Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts (TIPA) marked its 64th founding anniversary this evening with the vibrant annual summer festival and culture competition, "Yarkyi," featuring a spirited clash between its two competing houses: Ngonpa and Gyalu. The standout achievement of this year's cultural extravaganza was secured by Ngonpa House, emerging victorious for the third consecutive time. Sikyong Penpa Tsering, the chief guest, graced TIPA's anniversary cultural program and emphasized the paramount significance of preserving Tibetan culture for the forthcoming generations of Tibet.
