- In today's video we take a look at how my Dedicated FLUX Proof of Useful GPU Mining Rig performs using Flux's New Benchmark Tool in FluxCore. Going to give you a heads up, this Mining Rig did NOT perform very good. So it's time for us to upgrade the Graphics Card in the Crypto Mining Rig to see if that Boost our Benchmark Metrics. My goal is to get a decent mining machine in place and ready for when Flux POUW launches, so we can be the Most Profitable before the RUSH of people! Enjoy today's video!

What Hardware are you Planning to use for your FLUX POUW Rig?
right now none - there is no proof of valid demand from companies and there is no price market so I can't predict anything - right now is only hype.
Just put my xeon dual cpu,s I use are 2696v3 128gb ram @2400mhz, running windows 10 on a name m.2 500gb and a secondary ssd on 500gb and final HDD 4tb going to slam a 4090. No graphics card less than 24gb is worth using. ๐
Is the score low because you are going up against dual, quad, and higher gpu rigs?
Does FluxCore support AMD GPUs ?

From day 1 I had urged the CZcamsrs not to make the pouw with a dell LOL

Try a full thread ripper build, or latest 7000 series build. Gonna have to build full expensive PC's to do this, not cheap old stuff.

I thought the whole purpose of proof of useful work was making unprofitable useless equipment profitable again by combining legacy equipment to expand its ability and use whats available with metered traffic. Meaning you should be able to set your own mining fee rate. Whether or not somebody uses your equipment should be a combination of the fee you have set and the power you are offering. The most powerful shouldn't be used first Like in a typical blockchain that is competing for the most powerful. Proof of useful work should allow miners of all power to chip away at the work. Sounds like they don't have it figured out yet

Couldnt get fluxcore to mine or bench a 2nd gpu (using 3090 and tried to add a 3070ti just bc) and not sure if they even support multiple storage drives either. I know its in alpha but damn its trash so far lol
Only supports 1 gpu right now. I believe.
@@TheHobbyistMiner it benched my 3090 fine but the 2nd gpu on a 4th gen x16 riser cable got stuck AI benchmarking forever lol I hope they will let us add 2nd gpu in future
You can actually do 256gb of RAM and the 5810 supports quad channel and you are setup as dual channel watching your video. It may help you some. Also make sure to go into the bios and make sure turbo boost and hyper thread is turned on.
Both are Enabled, Great Recommendations though.

The problem with motherboards and cpu's like this is that it cant overclock to it's full potential, it's governed with limited power by maker so you want to spend more to overclock everything you can that can run for a long time with the right software
I start with Motherboard, cpu, RAM Cor D GDDR5 XMP , 4.0pcie Nvme Vnand SSD, Power Supply, DPI power port then GPU to match the Balance so say you have a 4090gpu but you got a slow cpu it will not work for what you are trying to a complish the gpu will slow down to compensate for the slower equipment or vise versa, mobo first then buy your bad boy ๐ป even my monitor is overclocked but be very careful on how you overclock i learned the hard way and blew out my old monitor and burnt out my dpi display ports even my rig popped trying to push it to every limit had 2k running at 97-129fps maxed high res
nice hobby! hobbiest miner. But GPu miners like me looking for future profits and profits for now, its just not even close. So even all that setup and 3060ti didnt compete well. Anyway untill i see with my eye no need to worry about this. I have great cards for this if its comes as something.

You can get 256 gb ram with windows 11

"AI inference" (not interference) is the current mispronounced word in the cryptocurrency world, like halving (not halvening).
It's amazing how the average crypto miner is clueless about what to do so most of them dump their expensive hardware on the second hand market.
Flux pouw will never be anything other than another version of vast AI. I doubt when its released that anyone will be using it when they can go to so many other places to do the same thing. Sorry u wasted ur money
