In europe, beeing a waiter is a job like any other, and you get paid (in most countries) a fixed amount per hour (minimum wage). You also get a health insurance, and every other aspect of a job. Waiter is a job in America, that doesnt fall under normal laws, so its absolutely common that they earn 2-3$ per hour. The tips are the only thing that keeps them alive, and thats how the whole culture around tipping evolved. In europe, beeing a waiter is a job like any other, and you get paid (in most countries) a fixed amount per hour (minimum wage). You also get a health insurance, and every other aspect of a job.
So please, for the love of god Lena, stop beeing a overpretentious bitch and learn a little bit about the american culture and how horribly hard the live of a waiter is. Oh, and while we are at that: Calling them entitled? WAITERS? Fuck off will ya?

It's funny he comes to one of the cleanest most organized kitchens ran by two of the worst owners ever on his show. To the point he walks out cause he can't do nothing with them. They thought gordon was just going to praise them and say her cooking is great no questions asked. This couple is without a doubt crazy and high on themselves.
