i think if nakazato didnt crash he couldve won, or atleast nearly won. hes honestly a great driver, its just that understeer and the fact that he gets nervous and pressured to easily causing him to crash

Easily, Nakazato's a great driver but he's easily pressured in races which causes him to crash frequently.
I wonder, there shouldn't be anything wrong with him losing in a gtr, but by having the best car he could get his hands on he felt he was not allowed to lose.
That reminds me, there was a drama CD specifically for Nakazato learning to accept loses to make him better, and it was Shingo that insulted him for being so scared of losing in the first place. It was when Mako and Sayuki found the white gtr that Nakazato lost to, so that he could redeem himself, but his first response was to avoid the challenge or something.

Think about it, The GTR is a legendary machine, the true godzilla, a beast, appeared as the second rival for the Ae86, to later become its third rival. be a Civic Eg6. I mean, the Ae86 had a rival whose car was a legendary beast, with an attesa system, with Twin Turbo, and then the next one was a front-wheel drive car with VTEC technology, I mean lol.

Nakazato would've won if it wasn't for that reckless accelerator slam at the corner exit, let's be honest.
Tbh the R32 would been perfect if the engineers fixed the weight distribution for this car, but atleast the R33 was byilt.
The same thing I say, if they had tried to reduce the weight of its body, making it as light as possible, it would be a total beast on the streets.

it only just dawned on me that Nakazato overheating his front tires effectively nullified the advantage of ATTESA ET-S, which is why he ended up spinning. just too reliant on the car's performance, even though he was still a good driver

I feel like the R32 should’ve come way later,like around the Evo. In the first stage an R32 would’ve beaten a beginner(by takumi’s standards) easily.
How the hell did takumi win against this thing in the first season it never mentioned that it was a v spec 2
VSPEC II or not it's practically the same when tuned but Initial D is a bit unrealistic in my opinion
