Manila has 2 sides.....the Old Manila of Intramuros, Quiapo, Sta.Cruz , Ermita Malate districts n the second side of Manila , the ultra modern city of Makati, BGC, Eastwood city, Vertis North, Aseana city n the Mall of Asia area

Manila City is just an area of the whole Metropolitan area or the main Capital of PH. Metro Manila is composed of huge different cities you only explored not even a quarter of the whole Metro.
PH has cities with cooler climate farther away from the main Capital region like Baguio or Tagaytay City located on the Highlands so you gotta need a sweater or a jacket early mornings, late noon or during the night specially when it's gloomy or during rainy days. There are also spots on the southern islands in Visayas regions and in Bukidnon in Mindanao with fair to colder temps.
There are 100% vegan cafes and restos mostly in Makati and BGC in Taguig city there are few spots in Quezon City, Marikina and Mandaluyong (Ortigas) based on my food hunts when I'm craving for vegan options. "Shaka" is one great highly recommended vegan spot they've got great smoothie bowls.
