Diana Dors will always be my favourite actress, my favourite character she played was Mrs Ardoyle in the Hammer House of Horror TV series - Children of the full moon. She really was a true English rose the best we have ever had. Such a tragic ending, what an incredible man Jason is, I wish him all the best.
I feel such a terrible sense of loss when I think about how Jason's life has turned out. He displayed so much promise as a youngster, showing serious talent as both an actor and a singer. His doting parents were clearly grooming him for a successful career in either (or both) acting and music. Their sudden, tragic deaths, when Jason was barely into his teens, threw Jason into a chaotic, unstable life in which no one was there to look out for anything other than his basic needs, much less support him in his effort to follow his dreams of stardom. The result: Jason barely finished high school in Los Angeles, then embarked on an aimless life that eventually brought him back to England. Since then, he has done no further acting nor singing, and made no effort to pursue a higher education. As far as I'm aware the closest he has come is doing some loose performances at local restaurants near where he lives. Both his (half) brothers, neither of whom show 1/2 of Jason's talent (and were/are no where near as physically attractive as Jason either) were afforded every opportunity by their father (Richard Dawson)to forge successful careers for themselves in television. How goddamn sad that Richard Dawson couldn't see it in his heart to do the same for Jason. You would think that with Jason being the brother of Dawson's sons that Dawson would do it out of respect and love for his sons, after all Jason IS their brother.
Jason seemed such a nice guy. Terrible his mother and father died months apart. Sad also he has died at a relatively young age too, as the result of drink. RIP. :(

Jason had amazing stories about all the wild drink and drugs parties that his mother used to host at her mansion house in Berkshire ( Orchard Manor ). Diana even had two way mirrors installed in the ceilings in the guest bedrooms so that she and her pals could watch unbeknown couples having sex down below to have a good old laugh. This was an idea that she had kept going since her first husband Welsh gangster Dennis Hamilton.
I gave Jason the red record of his mothers that is playing in the background. He needed it more than I did. Very nice guy is Jason.
Very sad to hear of Jason's death today. Hope he can now rest in peace.
