  • Sawadee khap my farangutan friends and puan puan khun Thai! I started working on a retro video list last week but haven't managed to finish that as of yet. I'll get back on that tomorrow. Anyhow, this vlog is glimpses of a not so typical weekend for me. We went on the Richard Gere on Friday night, a few on Lat Sawai Market. Unfortunately, rain stopped play. I did get some footage of the down pour.
Then, on Saturday, I headed into town (Bangkok) to meet some work colleagues for a few scoops. However, I got there early...5 hours early. I decided to have a little walk from Prathunam to Sukhumvit and stop off at a few places on the way. I went to Benjakitti Park again and found I couldn't take the bridge across to Sukhumvit as it was being rebuilt. I had to walk out the exit onto Ratchadaphisek Road and walk up to Asoke.
A short walk to 7/1 for a bight in the Pickled Liver ended in disappointment.
: ( When did that close? After skirting by the ladyboys, I made my way to the Irish pub on Soi 23, Scruffy Murphy's and had a Tiger with Fish & Chips. Nice. I then started heading to Soi 33/1 for The Robin Hood. This is a traditional English pub. A quick pint of cider there and then to O'Shea's actually in the Soi. This is an Irish bar worth a look. It's very popular.
I didn't want to film after that as it was too dark, and all the lads were there.
Sunday, we went to Heap Cafe & Restaurant Viphavadee. This was a nice place for an evening out. A bit expensive for me and cramped, but interesting cocktails, good food and live music.
Anyway, you can take a look. If you haven't already done so, consider a like, sharing and subscribing.
The content isn't usually this scatty!
