I was a exchange student in england just two weeks ago,but i am ict and when to ict wish there where any social girls there, but sadly not. Its also funny that i have a weak spot for dutch girls speaking english while i am dutch.
Wish i could meet a girl like that irl. Ict can be lonely probaly when the few girl there are barely have any social desire. This give me some hoop and more of any idea how that would be like thank you :).

I did try to learn French. So I at least understand some of the challenges. Having to arrange sentences differently and conjugate words you usually don't have to. My brain looked at that and said: "Nope."

I'm learning German, I think that was mostly correct. Only had to look up a 2 words. I'm asking because Dutch is quite close to German, right? When you hear German how much do you understand?
Yooo my man. I’m Dutch but I speak fluent German. The thing is Swiss people (not Sweden) understand it a lot better than German folks. Since I also live in Switzerland they say if I talk Dutch slowly they can understand me. And for you because you asked if it all good with what you tried. “Ich habe gehört, das Niederländisch ist Deutsch sehr ähnlich” gehört is past sentence, and “zu” is not really used to say something is similar or close to similar. Hope I could help ya 🤙
