I was part of a SSA choir that sang this last year! I was Soprano II, and listening to it now makes me cry since the choir ultimately dissolved due to a lack of people joining.
I can’t even describe how beautiful this song is. I’m glad to be a soprano 1 for my choir singing this song

It does. :0 My show choir was going to sing the SATB version of this, but it got cancelled because of COVID-19. It also sounds a lot cooler than the SSA version, in my opinion.

I sang this in an extracurricular choir on the stage of Carnegie Hall! I was Alto 2 and obsessed with the piece.
Our choir is singing this for solo and ensemble! As someone who’s generally obsessed with space and the stars, I fell in love with it from the first time I heard it! Not only that, but it filled me with an inspiration that I’m so excited to carry out soon! Overall 10/10, gorgeous song!

We are finally singing this song after two years of not singing. We where soupose to sing it for are spring concert. This is a combine women's peice with the middle school and high school chior. Well they aren’t exactly together in some parts. In the beginning we are in sync meaning we are singing the same part and when we hold Ad astra that’s when we split same with the moveras we all start at different times
I’m also a soprano 1 This is probably the only choir song I’ve heard where the altos have a similar part to sopranos it’s all in their head voice

Hi. Nice music. SOMETHING NOT NICE IN "Ad Astra" WITH NO ATMOSPHERE ON THE MOON, HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN SOO MANY EXPLOSIONS ETC. SOUND DOES`NT TRAVEL 1 Micro meter on Moon surface. SILLY SPC. EFFECT. 8-10 minutes : then I stopped watching "FAKE FOOLISH" movie
