As a female i find myself in the middle on the issue with this man. Many women dislike him, and some feel he is right. I am 64 and consider myself "old fashion" I want my man to protect me, work to keep our household going and in return i will ckean his house and cook. Yes i work full time too. My husband is expected to care for the cars and the yard on hi stime off. We are a team together with repect for each others space and time. It has worked for years. Agreed. The hyper sexualisation of men's drives and attention has led many to feel that they are dependant on women for that and therefore can't be their true selves. My husband had this type of relationship before me and he struggles to get out of those patterns. A phenomenon which I feel contributes to it. But also as you say the way the govt say you are entitled to... which makes a woman less grateful I think knowing that the state would step in - and the govt are actively trying to legislate people into being dependent on the benefits system and have been for a long time. So women are being told "you are entitled to: rather than gratefully receiving. The support system is crucial for people suffering abuse however so there are positives but the state is deliberately making itself a proxy for intimate relatio ships in the same way that Google probably shared more of your partners intimate and vulnerable omens than you. 🤯 speaking generally here.

As a 47 year old man the only thing I am trying to do in my life is to let my wife and kids know I love them unconditionally and I am currently trying to get a house that will be paid off so all they have to worry about is taxes and basic needs! Nothing more and nothing less it's becoming harder because of inflation and everything else going on in these crazy times but I will fight tooth and nail to make it happen!

Yeah, love is great if it finds you, but oftentimes it's not unlike a lottery ticket. Plus given the state of gender confusion and so many women wanting weak men that they can control, I think Andrew's stance is the only thing that makes sense in what passes for living in the current stage we are in which is pretty much the Twilight Zone. Weird, I always say "live for someone other than yourself". This was no more apparent to me than my time in jail where the most miserable, sad, angry, and emotionally unstable people would think of themselves and this showed either in how they treated others (cutting the lunch line, stealing from others etc) or through their stories of why they are in jail and who they blame for their woes. Remorse and repentance are not signs of weakness. Morals, ethics, and values are worth more than all of the money in the world. Fear is not respect. Respect is not commanded. Respect is gotten where respect is given. The want/need to have control over others is a trait of insecurity. Jealousy and envy are stinky perfumes. If you can't keep them off of you, you can't even control yourself. The only person you have to live with is you. Possessions are merely pacifying illusions. This physical matrix is merely one level of this eternal game. When we get to the end of this physical existence, all of this stuff gets left behind before we all cross the great divide on our own. We all have to face whatever/whoever is on the other side, baring nothing but our souls, having to answer for our sins, but only our own sins, and we have to do it all alone with God, The Source, or whatever you may call it.

I work at a mental health facility, my job requires me to have a certain level of sensitivity and emotional understanding to appropriately address my patients.
I’m not sorry that I’m under the expectation of what men should be, it still pays better than the rest of the jobs nearby, so I’m not living paycheck to paycheck, nor am I breaking my back every.
