This is a commercial channel from BBC Studios. #AlanPartridge #TimKey - Komedie
The way Alan gradually starts acting camper as the newer skirts come in is absolutely genius
I was thinking exactly the same thing. Perfect comedy acting
I love the sort of tragic implication that he would've been much happier in fashion than trying to make it in show business.
"Juliaaahh!"
Now this I luuuuuuuuuuuv
Gayer
"Join me at the lady" always makes me chuckle.
3 of the Best: Alan's Sidekick Simon | Alan Partridge | Baby Cow 1037am 8.6.23 have they gone and told these ladies they have a cat walk for a prime time tv show to attend and their, the ladies, faces say: you bastards!!! i enjoy partridge. i have no idea why coogan can't kill him off. i mean,.. seriously..
Tim is an amazing addition to the world of Alan
His telling of the night nurse story and losing confidence in the whole thing is amazing. Never ceases to make me laugh/cringe. The looks to the camera and timing of hitting the jingle at the end from Alan are also perfect.
Who is Tim? This is Sidekick Simon.
@@howdj No idea.People allowing their imaginations to runs away with themselves no doubt.
nah hes not that funny, hes just white
@@mrsmith7936 What does that mean? Alan is white too.
‘Let’s look at another woman in a skirt’
That is a very underrated piece of script writing. So clever how he can articulate Alan’s thoughts in just one simple sentence
Tim Keys faces are gold
The master of subtle comedy acting. Out there on his own as far as that talent goes
I shall pay more attention
3 of the Best: Alan's Sidekick Simon | Alan Partridge | Baby Cow 1039am 8.6.23 how often does coogan speak german...?
when alan asks him to feel the womans skirt fabric tims face is comedy gold.
This video has some great banter. It really has
Are you sure?
Great lines throughout the Partridge catalogue going back to the 90s. I haven't binged the Morning Matters stuff yet. Good Times ahead
“Tommy, join me at the lady”
“The world doesn’t revolve around you... your not the moon”😂😂
* you’re
I've seen every Partridge thing going, but 'squeezed out of a giant tube of Colgate lady paste' is quite possibly my favourite Alan quote. Impossible to use day to day of course, but it really is top banana.
I'm waiting to use it but there is a severe lack of stripy skirts
@@UnbelievablyGauche I've noticed that too although summer is coming. Hopefully this year
You say impossible but I'll give it a go
The fashion segment is just pure genius. Love how he gets the name of the last model wrong
'and that's a relish' is quality
Having Alan step around the minefield of non sexist political correctness is another stroke of genius in the ever superb evolution of Partridge, which is without doubt the best honed and crafted comedy character in history.
Spot on. Alan is forever evolving and not revolving...
What I really like about it is, the humor doesn't actually mock minorities and women, it mocks the people trying to appear woke while being everything but. They did this very early on, like in "Partridge Over Britain" where Alan kept interrupting the female candidate and getting her name wrong. There are some things that aged a bit badly, like the "ladyboy" stuff, but even that wasn't really mean-spirited, the joke was always on Alan.
@@WillowJordan1979 You sound like a ladyboy lover.
@@theculturedthug6609 I don't find them attractive, it's just confusing.
The way Alan pressed Simon to answer who else didn't find Anthea Turner attractive always gets me 🤣 😆
"Tommy join me at the lady" 🤣
sidekick simon sidekick simon 🎶🎼 du du du du du, da da 🎶
This for me has got to be one of Partridge's best sketches ever. I can watch it repeatedly and it gets better every time !
Lynn's texted in contribution to this discussion is just my favourite bit
Steve Coogan and Tim Key are a very underappreciated comedy duo. Both hilarious
I really want to see Sidekick Simon open an envelope in a very unconventional way
Simon is the best sidekick, EVER.
Juuuliaaa!! Golden 😂
I have no idea why so many people complained about this series not being funny (like the good ol' days of Partridge) this is gold! (or 'decent')
If I may make a suggestion for future Sidekick Simon clips, I would recommend the time Alan got very angry at Simon for tricking him about Internal Revenue calling him, and the time Simon left but came back during a snowstorm at the station.
EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER
@@saml5284 YOU ARE NOTHING, AND I..... am Alan Partridge
@@georgeohunt2263 The timing of him say, 'And I'm Alan Partridge - whilst going back on air was sensational'
The fashion segment is absolutely superb and beautifully written and acted. One of my favourite bits of This Time and parody at its absolute finest.
Last bit so reminds me "knowing me Alan Partridge, sacking you Glenn Ponder"
'Strolls in like lord...'' Vader?' 'Lucan'
amazing
😂😂😂
Simons face...lol.
1:06 "Kirsty _owns_ it"
"Well thank you for bringing it in, Kirsty"
I eat my crisps like sidekick Simon now, it’s a game changer for sure.
Hippy style!
‘Pioneering use of cannons’ 😂😂😂
Juliaaaaaaa
Partridge is amazing. My favourite is when he plays Steve Coogan. Genius.
Aha.
Ahaaa!
Un-bel-ev-able
Ha haa!
You people
Really want mid morning matters back , Simon has to be with Alan now
I love Tim's face trying not to laugh when Alan repeats back "hippy style"..
I love how Alan destroys the mental nurse fiasco
The writing in this show is so good
Ey, ya cheeky tit.
Praise indeed 🙄
@@seandrew7837 haha oh dear someone has a miserable little life 😅
@@matthewratcliffe1953 how can we improve it for you?
@@seandrew7837 hang on is this a wind up?? With that comeback i can only presume you're actually one of the writers on the show?? Love your work 👍
Crying laughing. It’s too good
How embarrassing,he didn't know what he had for Blunch😂Love it!
This is such a great role for Tim Key
Its got a beautiful silhouette. Even when there's no sun.
Hahahaha that's excellent...really good.
THATS NOT A CONDIMENT ITS A HOT SAUCE!
A beef tomato............and here is Mick Hucknall.
Great banter!
“Decent bit of skirt.”
Feel the fabric Simon then talk about it....😂😂😂😂
Sidekick Simon: “The skirt won’t shut up”
Genius
Simon is great
All I want for Christmas is a giant tube of lady paste 🤗
3:09 the “i-i-it-it” cracks me up.
I do enjoy hyper Alan in the second clip
Thanks sweetheart, that was sensational.
What a great Bowler Hat (chat).
Pioneering use of cannons.

Useless
YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH you had lunch
Bum time with Branning 😂😂😂😂
Do *NOT* waterboard me!
I’m contacting the citizen’s advice bureau!
I love me a bit of Tim ‘coat tails’ Keys.
Does anyone notice Alan called the model Julia even though she was introduced as Louisa? Julia was the previous model
Genius at work methinks (said in AP voice)
....AND THAT'S A RELISH 😂
Seb Cardinal is a phenomenal actor
Canal Thursdays on Chatabix
Who's that?
@@zapkvr The bloke who is not Steve Coogan or Tim Key or any of the women in skirts, lol
Oh shit I completely forgot about cardinal burns 🔥
@@Yabushiga There’s a fair bit on CZcams 👍
Subtle awkward pathos nailed on mid morning matters
Colgate Ladypaste... Pahahah
Remember Eamon Holmes in full Partridge mode on 'fashion' section of silly day time TV show.
Hilarious 😂
I like to leap in the air and sing WHOA BODYFORM!!
It is a stripey chatterbox!
‘Julia!’
Are you on an E!? 😂
Feel the fabric Simon, then talk about it.
Its a happy SKURTTT
Blunch....🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Juliaaa!
As much as I enjoy the uploads, why so often the same few clips?
Steve Coogan is a genius. I feel it's not recognised as it should be.
Definitely underrated, he's only consistently been on TV for the past 20 years, with a feature film and multiple books.
Exactly how should it be "recognised"?
Awards, popularity, money and freedom to do what he likes isn't enough?
C'mon, grow up.
@@derekgleeson1353 grow up?

Mustardess
I have mental health issues.
Rolls in like lord vader 😂
Lucan..
I googled it and his face after saying Lucan married it all up and was the chefs kiss!
65 quid. Jeepers
I liked the series set in a Travelodge (?) hotel wth the Geordie ex soldier worker who used to have those long incoherent conversations with Alan. Can't remember the title now.
i'm alan partridge. knowing me knowing you set before that is worth a watch too when he had his own show
The fashion clip stands up against any British Comedy EVER.
Magnificent.
Anthea "The Body" Turner
Tommy, Join me at the Lady is the best
Any blind man 😂
