After 9 seasons, season 2 is still my favorite, so many amazing moments.
I like all the seasons so far but if i had to choose.. Season 3
iGetGoodYT season 6 for me.
A normal lazybones season 6 was so great😍 season 3, 2 and 6 are the best (for me)
Okay I don't get why people liked the 6th season. That season was boring as hell.
witch one was about daryl and beth ? that was mine
Rick is driving back to the farm with Shane. Shane sees a walker in the field alone.

💔💔💔
It’s still amazing but nothing like it used to be
Skyline P Definantly, I just miss a lot of the old cast 🥺
Spectacular Smoke Heart same everything feels different now but it’s still good
Skyline P Yeah
One of the most powerful moments in "The Walking Dead" tv show. Shane sees a walker (zombie) in a suit and tie in the middle of a field, walking aimlessly. In that moment he feels as alone and lost as that walker.
That's how I read that scene. :)
ik i felt the same
I felt the same, too...
I did not really pay attention to that scene but once I looked into it.. Yeah your right. I always thought it was a foreshadow of him becoming one In the future
Hi :D Can you tell me when is this moment in the series please ? ^^
It's from season 2 episode 10 :)
The songs that TWD picks always fit perfectly with the show. Anyone else agree?

100%
especially this one and the parting glass, sung by Beth
Agree100%
@@rompeanos6064 Long Live Beth!
I miss Shane.
Not just because he was a great character, but because he made for a damn good villain.
Shane's problem was he'd already adapted to the new world. He was willing to make the hard choices in order to keep everyone alive. Rick today is what Shane was then.
I wouldnt say villain, more like anti-hero. He wasn't bad, he wasn't good either, he was just misunderstood and pushed away.

Shane best of all character
We need rick back man where is RICK! 😰
Real shit tho he was hot as fuck
I don’t think any show will capture the feelings the earlier seasons of TWD gave me… so much nostalgia, simpler times 💔
this picture looks sad and nogastic i like it

Gut wrenching Nostalgia.
Yeah. I cant describe how good were these days. I was watching TWD with my older brother like maniacs. We were waiting for a new episode every week and discussing it right after watching. My mom was still around. Times were simpler and so chill back in 2012. :(
@@Palindas the walking dead also brings me great nostalgia, sorry about your mom

The lone Walker in that field at the end of 18 miles is one of the most powerful and beautiful scenes from the whole show.

Honestly, going back to rewatch the series now - s2 is so special to me. The sense of slowly creeping madness and isolation in a world that's become uninhabitable and unbearable is so potent in this season. It's like Rick and co were on an island, safe from the chaos momentarily, but you can see a massive wave approaching. Even the characters knew what reprieve they'd found was temporary.
Ahh. The good old TWD days when our biggest problem was Shane and the walkers instead a bat-wielding lunatic. #TBT
Where are you runnin' to Rick? We love you. Come back to us.
cadettipk I do miss these days 😔
Everyone was young and alive
waifu w and the show was mainly about walkers
These songs make me miss old walking dead days and it makes me cry ,😭😭😢😢😭😭😢😭😢😭
Crazy thing is, if Shane was alive today, he and Rick would be best friends again, since Rick's mindset is so similar to what Shane's was during season 2. I really hope we get a dream sequence or hallucination with Shane, I don't care how cheesy that sounds I just really want Rick and Shane to sit down and have a conversation :P
i hate rick
+Mad Max Rockatansky Actually this sounds like something the writers would put in the script. The monologue that you have for both Rick and Shane sounds just like a conversation those two would have, especially the monologue you have for Shane, its like I just imagined this conversation actually being on the show. For me I'd like to see how Shane's face would look seeing how many people Rick killed and that he survived this long, keeping both Carl and Judith alive.
+Emerald Alien Yes I guess that would be cool. but even though Rick behavior is the same his mind set is a little different he wants to defend those he loves, and he has sanity. Shane slipped into Psycho and only cared about himself and Lourie and Carol. so its a bit different.
Shane knew Rick threatened their survival. He wanted Rick dead and he failed many times. Fuck Shane.
Joseph Uranga I strongly agree LOL
who else here comes back every so often? the nostalgia 🥲
back when I was i High School TWD was the best show ever end everyone talked about it all the time.
I was absolutely addicted to it just like my classmates. This soundtrack still gives me nostalgia chills.

This is Shane's song to me
Such an emotional song. Makes me remember the scene after Carl gets shot and Rick runs to Hershel's house. As Rick is breaking down Shane is there to comfort him. Also the scene after Rick and Shane fight in 18 Miles Out and Rick has the option to leave him in that bus, the camera pans to Shane's face and he is visibly scared. Rick had every reason to leave him there, but he didn't. They were best friends, after all. Seeing those two dead cops side by side earlier reminded him of their history.
Even at the very end, Shane hesitates to kill Rick which leads to Rick having the opportunity to stab him. I like to think that Shane wouldn't have been able to do it.
Very tragic that Shane let his love for Lori, Carl and Rick consume him and lead him to his death.
It will touch you for sure no matter what the situation is family will always get you through no matter what
😭😭
Miss shane

Back when you and your friends were tight close. Back when times were fun. Back when shit didn't hit the fan. Back when we're all excited for the next season of the walking dead. Back then when our beloved/favorite characters were still alive. Back when times were good.
Hope you're doing better now. If not, hang on, keep fighting, introspect and be honest to yourself. God bless you.
this show impacted me too much , its so haunting.... when i close my eyes while listening this song i can picture rick running alone in a grim cornfield , theres a farm and wandering silhouettes
at the distance...
People who straight up think Shane was a douche bag/bad guy only see black and white. The entire time he was fighting with the rejection not only from Lori but from the entire group because he was always focused on pure survival. He adapted to a zombie apocalypse faster than anyone. Didn't matter if it was good or bad, his intentions were to keep the group safe. In his final episode, Lori finally apologized to Shane, which she should've done FROM THE BEGINNING, instead of trying to hide her tracks and cutting the line between them instantly. Shane did his share of good as well as bad. He was not a villain, but more of an anti-hero.
Omg i agree with you 100%
Its weird because i think Rick put the group in danger ALOT..... he just got lucky all the time if his plan worked.... on the other hand shane is more like "it is what it is, too slow, get left behind" he had good intentions same as Rick.
Shame he died though, i'd say he's a really good actor. One of my favourites.... 😄
And you forget about something, Rick is now becoming like Shane, he just think to protect his group at all cost. I mean not like him, but the intentions of protect the group are the same, i think this serie will stay in my hearth forever
Oscar Moli yeah your right... ive noticed that he can get a little inSHANE sometimes. But he's so caring you cant Condemn Rick, he absolutley amazing.... haha ☺

***** ikr
Why?! There was no need to make me cry!
sorry :c
Unlikeable as he was, Shane was by far the most interesting character on the series thus far. I cannot really bring myself to care about most of the others.
*****
The fact he was dangerous and unpredictable is what made him interesting to watch on screen. You knew he was going to snap at some point, we just didn't know when, where, or what form it would take.
Those human flaws are what made him easy to believe as a character.
You have no idea who I relate to. Interesting ≠ Relatable. Shane could not be further from the person I could relate to, douchebag.

Season 1-2 are better than newer episodes in my opinion :/
Season1 and 2 were legendary!
Lewis Lazenby Season was ok but also kinda boring. It introduced the characters. Season 2 is epic! Really good Season. I'm at 3 at the moment so i will see how this is :D
Are you HIGH?
The newer episodes aren't as character orientated and you can really tell that they've changed the director. Season 3 completely sucked. Season 4 was a bit better but it still can't live up to season 2.
Lewis Lazenby You are foolish mate.
Season 2 was the best season of the entire series. I’ll love this show till the end but season 2 was just good in every way. That’s how you expand a great first season, with a perfect second.
You think it was perfect? Clearly you don't know the behind the scenes issues.
Before season 6 everyone used to rip on season 2 for how bad it was. Constant complaining about Andrea and Laurie, even Carl. When the show turned to garbage everyone started to realize that maybe season 2 wasn't so bad after all. At least seasons 9 and 10 have been light years better than 6 ,7, and 8, but I doubt we'll ever reach the highs of season 4 and 5 again.
i miss rick grimes and the group surviving in farms and routes, now everything is different

THANK YOU!!
Thanks to T-Dog’s Shoulder,Carol is alive today. Thank you T-Dog’s mother for choosing the man whom you had intercourse with because if it were another man then it might have been Someone else being born instead. R.I.P T-Dog.
Shane wasn't really a bad guy. He was just the first member of the group to be affected by the new world. He wasn't afraid to make the tough choices or be brutal for the sake of the group. He died because his brutality clashed with Ricks morality. However, at the point that Rick is at now, he has basically become Shane. He no longer trusts outsiders, doesn't hesitate to kill for his people, does things that degrades his humanity for the sake of the group, and has become a very different man than the man he was in the beginning
+Mad Max Rockatansky finally someone who agrees with me
He was just ahead of the game
I wish he was the same it was better and if he was still the same when was introduced it would be alot better
And its so sad because a the end the war win and completely changed him, to the men he hated it
Shane was an asshole, He tried to kill Rick

Memories from season 2.. ; )
the best season for me
+Those Who Dont Exist shane is dead !!!!
And that beautiful field walker! I think it symbolizes true world peace! Shane sees and stares at it moments after fighting with rick on a supply run and after competing for lori and carl. The lone walker has no quarrels. no love. no worries or things to concern himself with. Not even his loneliness (hence the vast expanse of field) is a concern to him for he has no concerns and I think Shane stares, mesmerized, at it and, maybe even a little jealous, that it will never have to put up with any of the problems that a human would. True peace! That is the true turning point for Shane to no longer being human.
True peace.... until he sees a human being he can eat. Or another mammal....
True peace ONCE he eats ALL the human beings and mammals!!
Indulging in mindless violence to achieve true peace? Tranquility made possible by piles of corpses?
Doesn't seem so zen..... Or beautiful.
If everyone is dead, who will worry about the corpses? Who will be disgusted by them? Who will profit from them? Who will weep over them? Nobody. True peace is only achieved with the extinction of the human race!
If you read it like that I guess it's not an *in*valid takeaway on the sequence. Getting into your frame of reference where that's what it represents (rather than paralleling Shane's character, which is how I read the scene) I'd say that my takeaway would be the futility of striving for world peace. It's not possible so long as there's a mind there, so long as there are biological drives and impulses, that life goes on without people and so does death and decay. There was a before, there will be an after, and every last chapter of of life on Earth is written with blood and build on the bodies of the dead.
No matter how you read it it's a pretty existential moment. As bad as season 2 is on the whole it had some truly excellent pieces; like that sequence. I can't help but get an empty feeling in my gut every time I hear this song, firstly because the song is excellent, but I also can't separate it from that moment (or Safety Not Guaranteed, both using it to excellent effect) and the effectiveness that series of shots has. There was brilliance in the bullshit, I just wish there was more of the former and infinitely less of the latter.
Man the walking dead back then I would never miss an episode sundays were exciting for that reason alone.
Gold old days

Same
I can’t believe I’m saying this but I miss Rick...
Grace Santi me too 🖤
Shane
Devin Carter yeah him too. I always wonder what it would’ve been like if he kicked rick instead.
Grace Santi Shane had one goal: to end the night with the man who is willing to kill his best friend in order to keep the people he loves safe, no matter who that man would be. I honestly believe that he knew it could go either way and that there was a chance he wouldn't make it out alive.
He realized that in order to keep those you love safe, you have to be willing to eliminate ANY threat....even if it's your best friend that you love. Shane threatened Rick's life several times, and he knew that either he had to kill Rick so he could keep Carl and Lori alive or Rick would finally step up and make a devastating decision and prove that he would do anything for his family. One of them wasn't going to survive, and it just so happens Rick came out on top.
I have to wonder if Shane wanted it to turn out that way. He knew that Lori and Carl would always choose Rick.....so maybe it was his plan all along to force Rick to fight for his family and become that man that will do anything for them. I think that's all Shane wanted....for Lori and Carl to have a protector at any cost. At least he died knowing that Rick was capable of making tough calls and that he did have what it takes after all.
he comin back ooo

Dude this gives me like a nostalgic feel. I just remember twd season 2
2021 is here, let’s pray the dead won’t start walking
For me the ending of this episode was one of the saddest of the whole series. I always interpreted the lone walker that Shane sees in the field as a reflection of Shane. He saw himself in that walker, the feeling of being isolated, like he didn't belong. I think when he sees it a second time that's the moment he lost all hope and knew things would never be right again.
Man this takes me back to the old days of The Walking Dead
