alcohol is not allowed to be carried via flight to Maldives. Will have to spend a lot on booze for heavy drinkers.

Hai bro
I am from hyderabad how to visit meeru island bro what was the approx cost for 4 days visit
yes, bro, I want to find it out how much cost I'll pay if I stay 2 or 3 days? if you find than plz tell me.
Bro your question is general. If you will saty in male city. In city hotel are too cheap n has less facility. Resorts are super expensive. Within resort water villa shown in video are most expensive they have separate rooms n every room price depends on its faciltiy.

How to reach meeru from male airport?
Meeru resort have their ferries lined up at the Male Airport. You can visit the Meeru resort counter stationed at the Airport and can get all the information once you reach there.
@@jogendrameena6275 what are the charger of this ferry and i emailed them yesterday they said there is no ferry but speed boat which costs 155 usd per adult!! So if u did use ferry then when was it and how much did it cost you?
@@1997mahima Absolutely! Expenses of the Speed Boat was 155 USD at that time as well. I used the speed boat only.
1:32 Correction: you say come up with your own alcohol.. everyone who's planning a trip to maldives probably already knows that alcohol is banned on the mainland, since it's majorly an Islamic country. You can only consume it on the private Islands. So ppl, please *don't* "come up with your own alcoholic beverages". It is not allowed and will be confiscated. You *can't* purchase it from the local Islands also, because it's not there, due to the same reason.
Edit: thanks for the tour though
Well...in that case Gizmo Girl.. one can always carry duty free allowed liquor with them,i.e. 2 litres of it from the airport itself.
@@jogendrameena6275 you are mistaken kind Sir! You can't carry any kind of alcohol there.. duty free or taxed!
@@theGizmoGirl okay may be.. I stand corrected then. Thanks for the info btw. Appreciate it.
@@jogendrameena6275 "maybe" still 😁 anyhu, maybe more exposure (like talking to ppl, vlogs/blogs of other travellers, tourism advisory or reading the basic laws) will confirm it for you, hope you get it soon :)
But let me say it again, alcohol is banned, the only way you can have it in Maldives is get it from the private Islands where you are staying or from the floating bars near the public islands if there is one (it won't be there on all public islands I suppose, but the main cities like male and others). But definitely no possible way to carry any alcohol, it will be confiscated on all 3 international airports in maldives. (Maybe given back when you're going back, not sure about that)
@@theGizmoGirl 😂😂😂 You read may be.. but you didn't read "I stand corrected then". Anyways once again thanks for the info.
P.S. I am not a blogger or anything.. this video was just made out of nowhere. So, my apologies on un-blogger like behaviour 😋🙏
