      All Pharmacists are classed as the same here so entry level is about £40k to £45m on average

      Hello hun,
      If you can afford to, I would advise you to do both undergrad and masters abroad. This is more beneficial in the job market.
      If money is a factor then do the undergrad in Nigeria.

    UK is great for me cause It is in the middle of eu and it has free healthcare, also there is football which is great, also there is new IP thing which is so good, in my country every drug can be sold under pharmacists regulations but it's illegal after all with new IP cert it will be legal
    This new independent prescriber cert will improve public disregard status

      Hi Keith, would you consider taking the IELTS exam, that will prepare you as well as demonstrate your English proficiency for when you are ready to move.

      Hello, yes you will still need to take the OSPAP with a masters degree. As long as your pharmacy degree is outside the UK, you need OSPAP.

    Does a person get job as pharmacist after doing MSc in pharmaceutical from Uk university??? Kindly confirm
    Or after MSc ospap exam is compulsory to qualify???

      You need to complete a 4 year MPharm degree, 1 year of pre registration training and rhe registration exam to be able to work as a pharmacist

      The UK only offers MPharm, you can get PharmD in America or Canada.
      If you do consider MPharm, apply directly to schools here in UK and i’m sure you’ll get a place

    But what if someone graduates with a 2:2 and obtains a masters degree in the UK
    Will he still be eligible to register for OSPAP

      Hello Lawrence, thank you for your question. I believe different schools have varying flexibilities. It would be best to contact the schools directly as they can tell you what they would accept. I believe that The majority would stick to 2:1 however if you are able to present some supporting qualifications like a masters degree, some schools may be happy with that.

      Hospital Pharmacists are also in demand but not as much as community Pharmacists. It is definitely much easier to get into the community at this time.

      This is something I intended to address in an upcoming video.
      You’re right, but I believe community pharmacists bear the brunt of it as I have worked in other sectors and you’re respected much better there.
      Unfortunately the government is not helping matters with the funding cuts and last of recognition.

      Yes there are a plethora of opportunities! They do appreciate outsiders, you may find the few that tell you to go back to your country but the fact is that they need to appreciate you because if not for foreigners these jobs will be vacant and healthcare would suffer!

    Hi.
    Have 2 year diploma in pharmacy certificate and 2 year degree certificate named Bachelor of Pharmacy(Practice). Both completed in India.
    Would the above qualifications be eligible for OSPAP PGDip?

      Hello Pankaj, Yes I believe you will certainly be able to qualify for OSPAP with your degree qualifications. Please ensure you read the guidelines thoroughly and entry requirements for the university you intend to go to.

      I have got replies from universities and also few other source, the degree i mentioned is a 2 year degree and they need a minimum 3 year degree. So the above qualifications of India whichni mentioned are ineligible for ospap.

      The workload is huge in community pharmacy, doing Double the number of items than 20 yrs ago!! with Half the support staff!! It is a Very Heavy Workload every day, with Very Demanding general public ! That is what the OP is saying. Many leave jobs in community because of the Stress!!
