Matt ! This motor home looks almost perfect for my wife and I to full time RV in! My likes are endless: Solar, two ACs,22.5 tires, wash/dry Prept, outdoor TV, full body paint (available), big fridge, out door kitchen, large LP tank and it’s a very nice looking coach at a great price ! I hate to even mention the Dislike that turns my wife OFF! When you step into the coach the very first thing you see is 1960s DATED cheaper looking back and seat cushions for the dinette! Such an otherwise NICELY designed and built motor home and that’s the first thing seen when we step into our full time RV/HOME !!! It’s such an inexpensive and easy way for the factory to make a nice coach GREAT!!! Only other thing we would like to have is a bath&half with larger tanks ( 90+ fr.water 50+ gr , 50+ bl ). See we’re not asking too much!🤷🏻‍♂️right???

My wife and I are sold on this unit! We are going to buy one at the end of the year or first of next year. We love your videos and because of them and your personality, she said we are coming from Tennessee to buy it from you! We’ve been looking for a while and as I narrowed my search based on likes, price point and overall quality and I kept coming back to Coachman products. The 3 things I dislike is the toilet paper holder location, the light fixture above the dinette and it not being full body paint. The 3 things I do like are the materials inside the coach, the storage under the bed and the low luster finish on all the cabinets and trim. Thanks for your reviews that have helped me chose what my wife and I want as our first motor home!

Congrats on getting the scoop on the Encore! Likes: love the over-cab bunk (wish it held a little more weight though), the neutral color scheme is beautiful - love it, great storage throughout. Dislikes: not a fan of dinettes and I'm surprised Coachmen didn't see the opportunity to design a more flexible space that would work not just for eating, but for people who work remotely, do hobbies, etc. Bathroom feels like an afterthought. Biggest dislike is that huge, beautiful kitchen and almost no prep space. And no, that puny extension doesn't count. Great review as always Matt and Andrea!

I can hear Andrea mumbling - And Matt saying "I have to get my shoes on for work. I'll let the bed down in a minute. Next time get up when the alarm goes off" LOL
That bed idea is a very cool feature. Watch everyone do it later this year. The creator should get a bonus-
They'll start putting "Warnings" on the mirror - "Check to make sure your spouse is up before lifting.
My over-all opinion is - It makes me feel -- "Camping trip"
When I pay $100,000➕ - I would expect to feel a little luxury.
The 'tight bathroom' The plastic looking dash - A useless 300lb 'over-cab' sleeper(Why bother)As a 250lb man - If I trip and grab the edge of that over-cab bunk - I would rip it completely down. I know a guy that stepped onto the latter to kiss his kids goodnight and the whole thing collapsed. - the single AC Unit - the whole effect seems '$65,000-ISH
It looks like the storage is sufficient - The sofa and chairs are the only luxury in that unit.
    I love the awning design.
I Love the construction (Walls and Roof)
    I give it 5 out of 10 - maybe a 6
For the price and the things I (as an owner) would have to upgrade - An AC unit in rear - Roof fans - Additional Solar Collectors - Upgraded 'House Battery system - and a few other things. ==
    For me it's a pass.
Thanks for showing it Matt and Andrea.
I see what you are seeing - but you guys are selling I'm looking.

I watched this when it came out but at that point was shy to comment. No more! Ok- couple things- 1. The fixtures above the dinette actually look really good on camera. I would’ve thought they were glass. I didn’t realize they were more mirroring metallic. My guess is they were going for a look like glass. 2. Call me crazy- but I don’t love the bed’s theatrics. I’d rather just have a regular old bed with a shoe holder running all the way across the foot of the bed underneath and then have a full length mirror on the wall that you face as you walk into the bedroom. 3. LOVE THE W/D connections!!! And last- hallelujah for no cheesy rv color scheme or design. Bravo, coachmen!

Hellooo Matt, Thanks for the review of the Coachmen Encore. 3 things disliked: 1.No Truma hot water heat 2. Need more solar and a 2000watt inverter 3. Now THAT is amazing for the price. And with that huge cargo capacity adding a washer and dryer will still leave you with at least 3,000 pounds. I like everything about it, and would love to see them do one in cabinetry stained light gray with that same color upholstery.

    Dislikes:
    1. The bathroom. By minimizing the indoor storage, just by say 6 inches. The shower and toilet area would have benifitted. You did a great job on storage but just a little too great.
    2. No bumper. An oversized bumper for sewer hose storage would have been great.
    3. An additional solar panel. One is great! TWO WOULD BE OUTSTANDING!.

Ah Matt, you are killing me here! My wife talked me out of Class A motor homes because the ones we liked with a stackable washer/dryer were 37’ or more. This 35’ motor home is PERFECT! I want it so BAD!
3 dislikes are no tankless water heater, non-chrome side mirrors & no cup holders on the dinette
3 things I love are a stackable washer/dryer (perfect placement), basement storage & that bed is a game-changer (I think my wife will literally change her mind about Class A’s on this alone!)
3 more things I loved were the kitchens (inside & out), everything on the roof (including the roof) & the PRICE (a little more than the Quantum KW29 Class C we want, but not much more)
(this love list could go on for days…)

The design of those "drop down" overhead bunks prevents using for storage. Most class C motorhomes on the Ford cutaway have a fixed overhead bunk which is a HUGE alternate storage area. This is a fail... however - the underbed design in the rear is PURE GENIUS! Also, having the entire motorhome completely useable with the slide in is a huge plus. Great review Matt & Andrea!!

This one checks all the boxes! A “like” for me that you did not even comment on is the low first step in the entrance. I have had multiple back surgeries and, also being only 5’ 2” tall, I struggle with the height on that first step. The toilet height is likely to be a bit of a challenge for me but all the positives far outweigh this. Thanks for the detailed reviews.

Matt I was sure you were going with toilet, no bumper for stinky slinky, And paint skins on the heaters, both hot water and coach heat. For your three do not like. And I would add a heavier weight capacity for the over the bunk bed. For my likes. I love the bed room, I love the asdel sides and the 1piece roof. My last like would be the carrying capacity/the big frame, tires. Love the channel. Andrea great addition to the team. Your comments are insightful and point out what issues are important to your female viewers. So many times a review will only show what is important to the reviewer only. They tend to miss the small bells and whistles. Keep up the great programming. I look forward to the new camera equipment. Not that the one you're using is bad just look forward to crisp clear filming.

I LOVE that it's prepped for a stackable washer/dryer!!! I like the introductory price point too. And the storage under the bed?!?!?!?! WHAT????!!!!! That is sooooo cool!!!! Do not like that the cabinets come down when the bunk over cab comes down. If it gets stuck in the down position, you cannot drive it. I can fix the area in front of the toilet so it's not so high for my short legs. This one is definitely on my short list!!!

Matt & Andrea: The bed underside mimics what the very rich usually have in their walk-in closets. Their walk-ins are actual rooms where one can sit to get dressed. Very fitting for a luxury coach! But l'm surprised there's no medicine cabinet in the bathroom, though.

Very livable - really works as a small apartment you can take on the road. Likes:
    - Cargo carrying capacity
    - Can use without slides
    - captains chairs look beautiful and usable when camping. Much better for sitting for a long time on a wet day.

I have spent 4 days Binging your and Andrea Reviews "GREAT", I'm looking for a couple of years doen the road, I just got a 2014 Outback RS / Toyhauler, But my old bones won't last. once I started watching u2 I couldn't stop tons of notes. But with this i'm done. I hope Couchman contines this layout with the hidden cabinets & make the shower bigger. KEEP UP THE GREAT Work. ;-)

Thank you, we love to watch you guys! 💕
Love what you get for the length of this unit, it checks off almost everything we are looking, great price, smaller unit with outside kitchen, stackable washer dryer, and having access to the fridge, bathroom, and bed when the sides are in. We totally loved the idea design they did under the bed, excellent concept, hopefully they can do this similar concept under a queen size bed. BECAUSE ….To make this unit perfect for us, we would change the king size bed to a standard queen, expand the bathroom for a larger shower stall, eliminate the weird door😜 to a sliding door, and lower the toilet down. Matt, talk them into making this an option with the queen size bed. 🤞
Also, we do prefer not to have any vents on the floor throughout, so it would be even better if they could eliminate the one on the floor in the bedroom.
Some other things would be is to alter the dinette a little, if they could add two small cushions for each side, (up against the wall just under the widow), and to enable the table to expand, to makeup for the seating size you would lose, due to the side cushion. The result would make the dinette more comfortable for putting up your legs and when watching TV. Oh yes, they need to add cup holders into the dinning table.
We would like a pet window up front and to somehow reinforce the ladder going onto the roof. We could notice in the video, the metal surface covering moving while you (Matt) were climbing up and down; and by the way Matt thank you for always showing us the roof.
We agree with you (Matt and Andrea) that putting on the bus size chrome mirrors and changing the colour of the chrome light fixture over the dinette would be nicer.
Matt, we live in Alberta, Canada, and were wondering, whether it would be worth it to purchase an RV from you? We are thinking that it may not be practical for service/maintenance, cost of duties, etc.… and there are no Provincial taxes in Alberta, just Federal tax @ 5%, so we are not sure which way to go. Do you have any input? Thoughts? 👀

    3 things I don't like:
    1. Bunk over cab (if it's an option, I'd leave that out).
    2. Dinette into a bed (I'd rather have a comfortable bench than to make it into a bed).
    3. No rear bumper.
Wow, that was tough to pick 3.
    3 things I like:
    1. TV across from seating area.
    2. The prep for washer and dryer.
    3. The outside kitchen and outside storage. Among many others.
The length, cargo storage capacity and towing capacity. And omg, under the bed, that is crazy awesome.
    4. The Cardinals beating the snot out of the Nationals today (11-0). 😉😎🤙

Likes : love the under the bed storage, like the color pallet of the inside and outside , love that you can get a stackable washer and dryer . Dislikes : size of both TV ‘s way too small for the size of this unit , the color /type of flooring . I think wood look would have been a better choice and lastly the material that the dash is made of looks cheep and this unit is way too beautiful to have something that looks like it not up to same standards!!! Also Matt you get bonus points for having your outfit match the motorhome 👏🏻👏🏻🤣

This RV is neat! Love that dressing area under the king bed. if Andrea is 5'4, Matt you must be about 5'6, both of y'all are short. There is a definite market for tall toilet seats. People are getting taller and they are easier to get up from. For y'all shorter people, you can buy a little footstool for your feet. I think they sell them anyway because it helps with constipation, haha!

  • @sandramancha-wright4650

Omg! This checks so many of my boxes! I hv never seen the under bed seats, mirror, storage nook which is unique, functional & fantastic! I love the outdoor kitchen AND stackable w/d option! I love the single, lg kitchen sink & modern fireplace! We were ready to start stalking Matt to make a deal....until the 1-P (crapper is too high) and tight curved shower with frosted glass. Massive Fail. If I can’t reach my butt to wipe it then I can’t buy the best RV to date I hv ever seen. I prefer a lg/xl box shower with clear glass. We are soooo close. Fingers crossed Coachman makes slight lavatory chgs and then we are eager to buy, buy, buy!

It's great for people with disabilities who can't get up from a low seating position. Love the mirror and storage under the bed. Love the ducted a/c. Would rather have a trifold sofa so we could have guests. With the price of this, I would think they would put a better handheld shower head and hose. Do not like the vents in the floor. @@LeggoMyLamb EV motorhomes are VERY intriguing - I think the first market might be class B vans. However, for a larger class C, I have doubts about a viable charging network. For instance, the Alaskan Highway? Off-grid boondocking is a big draw, but might be a challenge without having and alternate reliable back-up power source (generator)? I too am confident that EVs will dominate sooner than most think! Especially daily drivers.

Love cupholders & that it's in theatre seating, under dinette storage, sink is great size farmhouse type, GAS range and OVEN to use while boondocking, countertop is versatile, storage everywhere! Dislike bathroom is tight but could be 'loosened' by putting sliding door between bathroom and kitchen allowing a person to leave bath door open without sacrificing privacy, toilet paper holder is in poor location, lights above dinette are too 'chrome', brushed nickel would look nicer & would look great with contemporary backsplash. Great price point on this class A for the features.

Hey Matt pretty cool. Wish it was a level 4. Love that it has the stackable washer/dryer. Love the bed that lifts with mirror drawers good space for the dog to sleep when down. Like the large farmhouse sink. Also like the outside kitchen. Didnt like not having full body paint. Wish the over the cab bed held more weight. If another couple were to travel with you, where would they sleep? Dinette bed is too small. Wish the counter extension was larger. That little snippet counter piece looks like an after thought. I'm with you on the bathroom, needs reconfiguring. Wish there were two slides in the bedroom...looked cramped. Wish the closet doors weren't so flimsy.
