When I was in 7th grade (1984), our art teacher noted the strong resemblance my classmate had to Dustin Hoffman. She compared facial structure, skin tone, etc. She stopped herself after explaining the basic plot of "The Graduate" and the affair with a much older Mrs. Robinson. Years later, it dawned on us that our teacher had a crush on my friend.

@@carolplaster1497 In 1984, I only knew who DH was from Kramer v Kramer. I did not think my buddy looked like him. After viewing The Graduate years later, I saw a strong resemblance. Our teacher's comments weren't given much thought at the time--most 7th graders were daydreaming, scribbling, or worrying about their hair/clothes during that first week of school.
