When I was in high school I heard this piece every time I turned on the classical music radio. It was the intro song for the radio. I thought I could never play this it’s sooo hard. With a lot of smart practice and performance I was able to get it to a good level. Never perfect though.
This might be the best performance I've seen of it! Perhaps it's not as subtle as some people would like it, but it captures the 'Heroic' spirit perfectly in my opinion. Thanks for uploading this. It's too bad the mic wasn't up to the standard of the performance. Safe to say it couldn't live up to your insane amount of energy 😂
Thanks for the kind words! I have a few recordings with professional sound but most of my recording are just with an iPhone. I agree, doesn’t do the justice.
Thanks for the compliments. There is no perfect performance of any piece and you can always improve. The more you perform the piece the better you get. There is also some freshness in premiere performances that is not there when you perform a piece 10 times for example. I value both and maybe the premiere and freshness a little more. That’s why I try to perform new pieces all the time.

I'm the first person 5 years later to ask if you're noe better at that piece, cause 5 years ago you were almost perfectly nailing it
