One of my favorite songs of all time. I like to play the song right before it on the album "Heart of the Night" as kind of an appetizer. they go together so well together.

I remember hearing this song back in 1979. I was in the Army at Ft Sill, OK. It came on the AM radio in my car. Had to get home and try to find it on an FM station. Then, to the record store. All these years later and it still sounds great. RIP Rusty Young, ya kid good son.

Poco was an American country rock band originally formed in 1968 after the demise of Buffalo Springfield. Guitarists Richie Furay and Jim Messina, former members of Buffalo Springfield, were joined by multi-instrumentalist Rusty Young, bassist Randy Meisner, and drummer George Grantham.

    One of my favorites ❤❤❤❤
I was born in 1976 and I still remember riding with my mom in her tiny 3 color Volkswagen bug. ...driving through Vermont......listening to this on the radio.
    Brings back wonderful memories.
Those days and that music just CANT BE BEAT!!
It was a time when people really thought about their music and put heart and soul into it.
I believe he wrote that song just prior to joining the Eagles.
    Another amazing band❤❤❤

Poco is the foundation of this kind of musical genre that gave birth to Eagles and more. Rusty Young, who wrote this song still keeps Poco going these days. Randy Meisner left Poco and joined the Eagles when they formed and was replaced in Poco by Timothy B Schmit. When Meisner left Eagles, Timothy B moved into his slot with the Eagles. Jim Messina (Loggins & Messina, etc.) was also first a member of Poco. Poco is an incredibly influential band that gave birth to many others.
