As a Diamond Plus, I hate to say this; but your better off with MSC's Yacht Club and their private island YC Beach Club. There you can even get lobster! For the [rice of Sky or Star Suites, you can go on a premium or luxury line, without all the endless passengers! Plus, few children & their stroller jockey parents!

in the bedroom bathroom its a shower for two people plus a rain shower. I thought it was weird that there where 2 showers but only one sink? I´m guessing the other shower is for the one sleeping in the pull out bed?

I will call them out MSC- Never again- we had a horrible experience with them for this past New Years Cruise and are not surprised about this! Our 7 day on Oasis in October, and our 7 day in November on Carnival Legend for Thanksgiving were of similar price but MSC was bottom barrel except in ship beauty and the cabin was nice but EVERYTHING ELSE WAS HORRIBLE ON MSC AND WONDERFUL ON OASIS AND CARNIVAL LEGEND!!!
We were on the Divina out of Miami and it WASN’T divine!!😢
Don't feel bad about critiquing honesty gentlemen. Y'all are always fair with your reviews and polite to staff. Criticizing areas of short coming when you're paying so much money and have similar experiences to compare this one to is not whiny or mean

TBH, I mean, aside from any naughty multi-person applications, this is also just becoming standard on any kind of upscale housing, and even most suites at hotels if they're new or newly remodeled... The idea is that even if you're showering alone you can turn them all on and get spray from multiple directions. Sort of a luxury thing.
Well if you've got a big suite you might be traveling with kids, and you can bring young ones all in with you or with each other. Fun and saves time.
Sometimes in your bleak day-to-day life you just have to watch sheer, unfiltered joy, happiness and excitement of others to cheer yourself up...
This is where you guys come in! Keep up the great work!
Can we just pause and talk about that room?! As someone who usually cruises on the inside of the ship, these rooms really do blow my mind to bits - it’s must be AMAZING staying in here!

You can take the person out of a standard cabin, but you can't take the standard cabin out of the person...this is modern poetry. I'm laughing and still watching... I can't say I've ever thought about buying Crocs...however, you guys are making me wonder what I'm missing!!! I adore you both. I feel like we'd have entirely too much fun together and that's your draw! You seem so relatable and kind. I'm going to finish watching the video. xoxo
Crocs have a bad reputation but I think it's only the snobs who criticize them.
They're comfortable and really easy to keep clean. The time I wouldn't wear them would be going outside in cold/wet weather.
I was against crocs for the longest time just because they are hideous. I still think they are hideous but they are SOOOO COMFORTABLE! So I wear them around the house. Don't think I'll leave the house in them though

Ben with the "doing a line" whilst covered in powdered sugar sent me into a solid fit of laughter. The food looks fantastic. I do appreciate there's room to invite a neighboring table to come shower as a group in the suite. It genuinely seems like a pleasant experience! Thank you for the content as always!!
I'm so glad yall did a vlog on this ship! This is the one I've had my eye on. Finally talked my hubby into taking a cruise! And after extensive research, this ship seems to have the most bang for your buck for an "older" ship!
Good choice, this is my favorite RCCL ship, have done 3 sailings on her!
We went on this one last year, and it was my first time on a Royal Caribbean cruise. My entire family loved this ship. You definitely will not be bored and there’s a ton of places to eat. Have fun!
Because it’s such a big ship is it possible to bring your scooter on for people with mobility issues?
@@suepontin4958 most cruise lines allow scooters, best to ask for an accessible cabin and plan to park the scooter in your room.

I have had this cabin twice! It IS amazing. My Mom splurged on it for me and my brother when we did my Husband’s funeral at sea. Then during COVID I got a super crazy unbelievably cheap rate on it. So much fun to stay in it

CHALLENGE: Show us how cheap you can do one of the major cruiselines. Don't just talk about it but do it. No paid excursions, no extra-cost specialty dining, nothing extra paid. Cheapest inside room. And then be honest with us about whether or not you enjoyed it.
That's carnival for sure they have some cruises for $100 lol
@@Lifewithalyssenandwilson But I never see CZcams cruise channels do this. They LOVE to show off the biggest suites, speciality dining, great excursions, etc. but not the other end. Maybe they're just jaded by always traveling and getting pampered is the only way they can force themselves onto the ships again. Just a guess.🤷♂️
@@JackDecker63 there's a few that have! Just type in like cheapest cruise vlogs and people have tested the cheapest. The worst rated ones etc

2. The shower could be a shower for two, with a third head being a rainfall shower head for those that prefer it over a traditional one.

Totally agree with you as we have been fortunate to have stayed on the 17th floor many times on 3 Oasis ships. Have paid anyway from $4500 to almost $7000. However the prices have gone out of sight for most of RCCL cruises - to include the loft suites. But we have great memories - and have moved on …. ❤

We went on Oasis a few years ago. The ship was far too large for our liking, and we found that all of the events such as trivia were horribly overcrowded. The ship itself was magnificent, and we stayed on one of the balconies overlooking Central Park, which was great for people-watching and even sitting on the balcony and listening to the activity below. I'm glad to hear you were able to provide your family with an amazing first experience!
Ive been a travel agent for 15 years but genuinely the cruise knowledge youve given me 🙌🏼🙌🏼 just love you guys! You're so genuine and honest so thank you so much! As for the shower situation... Maybe a parent showering at the same time as young children with it being one of the only cabins that allow 4+ in it? Maybe!🥰🥰🥰

I’ve traveled on a a grand suite (2) bedroom and a grand suite (1) on Royal Caribbean. I find the price was worth it. I agree with the points that you made David, that you would have wished that priority means priority, and that you wouldn’t have to make reservation for coastal kitchen, the only difference I must say I received a bottle of champagne in one of the occasions while staying in the suite. Having the coffee bar was definitely a plus for my husband, as he was able to have a cup in the cabin which meant we didn’t have to rush for breakfast in the morning most times.
Home from work sick with the actual flu, all ive wanted to do is watch you 2. I dont cruise never will i get horribly sea sick. But you guys just make me happy.

i think this may have been before that cruise - they mentioned how sad the fruit plate in Royal's suites were when giving the room tour for MSC & I think this video shows said sad fruit plate.

I was on this cruise with my parents last year and the traffic was the same as you guys too, it was so hectic, but we got there safely. The experience on Oasis of the Seas was really fun too. Also, I love your brutal honesty when you board these cruise ships while having fun too. Don't let anyone or anything stop you from doing what you both love to do.

I have sailed all the Oasis Class ships and Oasis has the most amazing crew and best service i've had on any ship. It's probably b/c her crew is cohesive and almost like family. The level of service and professionalism is second to none!

I had to chuckle at David going into the closet and closing the door. There was no air, he couldn't get out, it was very dark in there and Ben was talking about leaving him in there and going out to have a drink. Ben's facial expressions are so CHEEKY!! Love him. You two crack me up. 🤣

I stayed in a Grand Loft suite in 2022. It was one of the best experiences of any cruise we have ever had. The genie adds a lot to the experience. Would love to do Star class again.

My wife and I stayed in that exact suite on Harmony a couple months ago. You get two room attendants and I remember walking in while they were cleaning the room. One was actually cleaning the walls. That room was amazing and very close to coastal kitchen. Our only issue was with the safe. They installed the safe, so the door opens facing the wall, making it really difficult to access it. It is funny you mentioned the vibration as we had the same experience. It felt like one of those old fashion motel beds that you put quarters in lol.

We took advantage of the prices post covid and were fortunate enough to get that same suite on Symphony of the seas with a royal buy up (I think for an extra 750 or so). It was amazing. I'm kicking myself as we didnt take advantage of many of the suite perks but then again, we loved that suite and spent lots of time in it! Truly was a dream come true!

Thanks for sharing - have never experienced my cabin like that. I grew up in South Florida and we absolutely have cooler winter days sometimes and the Bahamas are not the Caribbean and can be cooler.

We took our best friends who had never cruised on the Oasis last October.We have no advanced status on RCCL, but have enjoyed our several cruises with them on smaller ships. Of all of our about 25 cruises, this was my favorite. We stayed in regular balcony cabins, got the drink package for the first time (loved it) and absolutely loved the ship, food and shows. I would do it or a sister ship again in a heartbeat!!! Our friends are now hooked on cruising and want to go again.

Hi Ben and David. Loving your episodes. We haven't done suite class on royal caribbean but we did suite class on the Celebrity Edge and boy was it totally worth the money. We renewed our vows on the cruise also and we got a tour of the bridge. We also took my husbands service dog on his first (and last) cruise. He was a hit with all the crew and most of the passengers. We are so enjoying your channel. It's also been good to watch the old videos while laid up after surgery. Look forward to the next one. ❤❤
