You guys are absolutely adorable, the relationship you have…the love you share for each other and Junk Journaling is honestly beautiful!! It really makes me wish I had a Junk Journal sista! 😢 Or even just a fellow paper lover to share my scraps and other goodies with. That being said, if you have any ideas on how I can find such a thing or person I should say lol, I would love to know! I don’t do the Facebook thing these days so I don’t belong to any of the JJ/Art groups and I know that makes it challenging. But I can’t be the only one who is in the search for a “Crafty Friend” or Swap Partner”. If you guys know anyone or anyway I can find someone or even multiple someone’s. Lol…or if someone else ends up reading this and is interested in being my “Happy Mail Pal,” let me know PLEASE! Or if any of your viewers reading this happen to have any ideas or information on how to go about such things, I would greatly appreciate it! 😊
I live in the U.S. currently Indiana to be exact…and if you know anything about Indiana….well then, please don’t judge me based off of that 😂 I consider myself rather new to the JJ world/community, but have always been a crafter, as well as a lover of paper, books, all things vintage, and repurposing what most would consider “trash” or “rubbish”. So combined with my already acquired supplies from decades of crafting, books, and my collection of “Junk”… everything I’ve accumulated over the last year or so (since discovering my true crafting purpose…JJ) has given me a decent stash that I would love to share!
I apologize for the long comment, but Luise you crying had me in tears myself! Because what you and Barbara share is unique, beautiful, and inspiring! And every time I see you two together or talking about one another, I just think “I need a Junk Journal Sista in my life”. Lol. Really though, I’ve been wanting a swap buddy for a while now. And I figure, unless I speak up and say something, it’s never going to happen. So here’s goes nothing! 😆

The tears I shed watching this video. You are such a tender soul and your deep friendship with Barbara shines through. I am so excited for all the creative ephemera you both come up with. I can feel how much those bags that Barbara made and that you added to your new journal meant to you. That's why you both are so wonderful at what you do because just the smallest thing means so much to you gals. Those feelings are passed out here to us and I for one certainly feel them!!

Some time ago I received an envelope full of vintage cards and paper and other things from a person I had met on Instagram.
I started opening the envelope and I cried the whole time. I don't know if it was the smell that reminded me of my grandmother's attic or knowing that that person had prepared all those things for me, but I continued to cry with emotion. So I understand you very well.
