"Archer is bad for f2p" is actually an old school thinking now. KvK goes by so fast unlike before that you'll get access to all commanders before even a year of playing (Ramses as the next big commander investment after kvk 3). Plus, archers counters infantries so it gets you so much kills if you played smart in the open field in kvk since there are so many infantries running around kvk 1-3. If you'll be investing everything on YSG (which is mostly recommended), a kusunoki/YSG march is good enough to get you through kvk 1-3. Hope my opinion helps 😁

I am in 1979 and a f2p. Infantry is one of best decision I made in this game. For infantry players get your Richard 5 5 1 1 and alex expertise and guan 5 1 1 1 this is best.

I have a tip for whoever wants to create a successful farm account: create it in a new kingdom ( capture alters, gates and sanctums then migrate to your kingdom feeling Gucci)
Ysg is viable with all commanders type bcuz of expertise with circular area of effect that dominate in pvp and barb killing. Also ysg skills for archers is in 2nd skill that increase damage in chance
