A composer that can touch the heart of listeners is a true gift to mankind. This movie and the music accompanying it always toich my soul to the deepest fiber.
Thus is one of the most beautiful theme songs I've ever listened to. My eyes are wet. This morning, I woke up with this theme song repeating in my mind. I thought it was The Bible: In the Beginning theme. So, I searched and played it on CZcams. No. It isn't Ben-Hur either. I remember Ben-Hur theme. After a while of frustration (and I know it has to be a religion theme, because that is the message the theme carries with it beautifully), The Ten Commandments popped up in my mind. And voila!

Never! Hollywood is incapable of making religious films anymore, and I think CGI would look like crap in a movie like this. The original special effects are still mind blowing to this day!

Passion is more of an acquired taste. Its not a bad film, it is just different. I think that the religious EPIC could not be done in this day and age. I haven't heard of a Noah's Ark film, by Spielberg nonetheless. He is a master, but I am still certain that films of The Ten Commandments, or Ben-Hur quality could never be made today.
Wish we had more music and movies like this ... where has decent and quality entertainment gone off to??? A Great Movie, even if it's low budget doesn't need vulgarity, sex, extreme graphic violence, or any nutty "rating" ... all movies, tv, music and books etc should always be "G" ... for "GOOD"!!! And whether "GOOD" or otherwise, parents should always be apart of their children's "entertainment" all the time, and always right there ... supervising every bit of it!!!!
I love this movie. It's truly epic. The soundtrack doesn't with the dialogue. They both know the other needs space. They work together. I want the next Godzilla movie to learn from this. I hate to say it but you really could have women playing Moses and Ramses and keep the same wardrobe including jewelry. If Chuck Heston can play an African women wouldn't be more of a stretch. I didn't notice. Still love this movie. Lots of superman poses with the capes. These folks mean all the goodie out of every word they said. I love the propriety of it all.
I have the sound track CD had it for a number of years, but doe's not sound like this ! This is a whole different rendition, & I like it better ! When was this done ?

It's a shame the people would rather be misled by phony rabbinic interpretations rather then study the pure scriptures. The rabbis know that if the truth is found in the scriptures, they would no longer be rabbis and their income of fraud would diminish. Yeshua was right when He said that they teach traditions of men as if they were the law of God and by doing so they make the law of God of no effect. The love of money is the root of ALL evil. As we know the second temple was corrupt with money becoming the baal of their time. Yehoshua was Mashiach ben Yosef because His brothers, Israel denied Him and sold Him to gentiles to be killed. And not only that but they did it indirectly according to their talmudic tradition. Yehoshua is coming back with the clouds of heaven as the Moshiach ben David to usher the millennial reign of the millennial shabbat. Repent/teshuva before His wrath gets poured out on His enemies. Israel o Israel repent and say, blesses is He who comes in the name of the Lord(יהוה) קדש ברך הוא. God is not a man but He revealed Himself in His Messiah who was a unique man born by the Spirit/Word of God through a virgin/young woman from the line of king David. Yehoshuas origin is from eternity like Micah said. Believe the prophets and don't be decided by the rabbis, many of who don't know they themselves are deceived and serving satan. Why be stubborn? Open your over sophisticated mind and let the light of truth enter in. Yeshua is the ideal Adam, Kabbalah calls Him Adam kadmon. Yeshua is not Catholic or roman and He most certainly didn't teach to kill Jews. The Pharisees were the ones who initiated killing the followers of Yeshua claiming that it pleases God. Orthodox Judaism is the child of phariseism. The Torah is the revelation of the Moshiach who is the exact revelation of the One True God. Don't be surprised that people call Yeshua God because God dwelt in Him more fully that He dwelt in Moses. The Torah says that Moses was called king and....Elohim, GOD! He was the mediator of the covenant and type of Moshiach and Moses himself knew it. Thats why He said that a greater prophet would arise that would be greater than him. Yeshua is the mediator of the new covenant, Jeremiah 31. He even died on a cross as a sign. In Paleo Hebrew the last letter tav was a cross and symbolized a covenant. Not only that but the name of God , the tetragrammaton in Paleo Hebrew also reveals the sign of Yeahua יyud means hand ✋, ה hey means behold, ו vav means nail, and again ה hey means behold. ✋ Hand, 👀 Behold, 🔨nail, 👀 יהוה The Holy name depicts crucifiction.
