Miami V NY is an example of Miami's opponents getting outCOACHED, not outplayed. Thibs is a great coach for the regular season but fails to make adjustments in a series. Spo doesn't care about the regular season, so long as his team makes it to the playoffs which is where he SHINES. Show me the last time a team with SEVEN undrafted players made it to the conference finals. Practically HALF of their 15player squad consists of castoffs that have been scooped up and developed into the role players that Spo slots in as needed.
A few days ago, I jokingly said that this could be a repeat of The Bubble due to how weirdly the games have been shaking out. The Lakers continue to roll strong, Golden State continues to fade and I'm still wondering who's got that second series in the W, Phoenix or Denver. Of the two other teams in the E, I'm hoping Philly wins the matchup. I'd rather Miami face off against two oft-injured stars than the bench depth of Boston. ECFinals is gonna be a blast but if the Finals comes down to Denver V Miami then it's going to be a borrrring, defense-heavy game.

Knicks just overachieved this year, they really aren't that good imo, Cavs just choked that 1st round series. Randle has to be one of the worst team leaders I've ever seen, going back to even last year when he wanted out of NY & his own fans were booing him, then getting benched earlier this series, then him saying "maybe they wanted it more." His demeanor & the way he carries himself is probably such a morale & chemistry killer towards the rest of the team. He comes off as a pouty crybaby. Imo he is overrated, if I remember correctly he did come up 2nd behind Trae Young in that most overrated poll by the players. He's an undersized PF, who's just too slow to play SF. At least his contract is pretty cheap though compared to most stars. His attitude is too poor though, they should try trading him, beef up in the frontcourt & get Brunson some help.
