8 Qualities I'm Looking for in My Next Partner

We are making a relationship checklist, a checklist for my ideal partner. What qualities do I look for in a partner, what are my needs and wants in a relationship, and what do I consider priorities in a person that other people may or may not. I make a list of my top 8 non-negotiables I'm looking for in my next partner. This isn't a hard and fast list, but if I aim for a partner who checks these boxes I will be one happy girl. I make a vision board for my life every year, so why not make one for my future partner as well!

"someone that my friends actually like" hits home. As someone who dated someone who was the complete opposite (disliked my friends) I'll never do that again because it made social outings complicated and it made me feel like I was choosing my friends or my partner. All are great points!

I think number 8 is absolutely the most important. I always hated my sister's college boyfriend because when she was getting ready to apply to medical school, his attitude was like "yeah sure honey you can apply if you want but shouldn't you do something easier?" He always wanted her to settle for less and choose a job that he considered more "acceptable for women" She couldn't get rid of him fast enough, and she's starting medical school this fall!

I think the "Other parts to consider", specially religion and what they are looking for serious relationship, marriage ? do they want children or not...if those things don't align then it's better not to waste anyones' time.

I could not agree more, in my opinion, those are the deal breakers to end all deal breakers. It's important to understand them early on as well!
