- Alan is specific about his bathroom. He plans to destroy walls, swap the toilet with the closet and request a soaking bath that stays hot. Can the design team meet his particular requests? Or will Alan be left to soak in a tub of disappointment?

But, But!....Sarah!???...what happened to the closet desires?
that is what i wanted to know....
The closets were the purview of the contractor.
I loved surveying Sarah's facial expressions during the broken glass "skit". She is much too kind and professional!
Thanks Abode! a Sarah Richardson episode is a wonderful treat to start the weekend, have a good one everybody! x 💙
I agree completely!!!
I bet this client has experienced plenty of high end hotel spacious baths.
Serious bathroom envy
I love seeing her flex her muscle!
Stressful but....beautiful. He will enjoy it.
Thank you so much, Abode. I have missed Sarah's videos, they make my day.
May we please have some more?
GORGEOUS! TIMELESS! 😍
What happened to the balcony area? Did it become part of the closet expansion?
I think it is where the tub lands
This is just gorgeous and I would think the most expensive bathroom she has designed.
“Steam shower” episode season 3 😂 ALL MARBLE! Tommy said it best that he’s never had a client come back and say “yeah not expensive enough!”
Mom of 3 boys in season 3 who HAD to have the most expensive materials for 3 kids 😂
Oh my gracious I love this!!!
Unethical dude talking about the broken glass and “Allen doesn’t need to know, it won’t show”. Excuse me???
And he is on tape saying that, shake my head.
what trade was he btw?! the general contractor!?!?!!!!!
Love this bath
Sarah! Did I just see you talking on your phone while driving?!?!? Naughty!
Love this bathroom!
I really wanted to see his walk-in closests
What if we had TOMMY on site for the broken glass conversation?!!
Absolutely gorgeous 💯❤️
Woot, woot!
Not the client you want to deal with damage on the project.
Absolutely stunning!
Buttinski here: Imo, the architect is indecisive, leaving out other criticisms i could offer up (unsolicted), and THAT'S what caused the ridiculous timeline/stress.
I wanted to see the balcony!
EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOUR STAFF seem to get PREGNANT as soon as they work on a project!!!!!
The most jealous I have ever been.
This architect drove me nuts!!! Anyone else think he’s adding to the problems??
Wow
I’ve got to ask, why do bathrooms in North America never have heated towel rails? Even in relatively humble homes in UK, you would never get a bathroom older than 25 years that doesn’t have a heated towel rail. This bathroom is absolutely gorgeous, nevertheless.
Not really seeing a need for them?? Seems like an expense for little 'bang' when spending money. Frankly when I get out of the tub/shower I am over heated turning on fans trying to cool down. Maybe American's use too much hot water!
To answer your question, no it’s not usual here! We use forced-air heating for the most part which is ducted through the house and pumped into every room, so inside your home will get pretty dry and arid during the winter when the heating is on constantly. I know from my time in the UK that radiant heating is more normal usually powered by oil and that’s also what heats the towel racks (i think?) We just don’t have the right type of heating, unless it’s common to see an electric plug-in heated rack, as we could probably install one of those but then that could be considered a shock risk if it’s within arms reach of the bathtub. On top of that, in the UK the humidity of living on an island probably makes for damp towels if not toasted dry! I live in a land locked city in the middle of the continent and it’s technically considered a desert here, even though we have snow for 9 months of the year it rarely rains!
I'm not interested in a heated towel rack (from the Midwest US) but I'll take a heated bathroom floor, please!
I dislike the sink faucets. Sorry.
I have been disappointed for a decade not getting a proper tour of the after. How did the closets turn out? What does the 'porch' look like now? The sink is just silly. It's pretty but the over kill of two faucets that are majestic..just silly and impractical. Bet water splashes EVERYWHERE! What finally did happen with the divots in the vanity? Filling them isn't a great solution either..the 'fill' will shrink over time and show.... As always Sarah shines when she designs a tile install.
Sarah said that the builder was taking over the wardrobes; therefore, sadly, there was nothing to show with regard to the wardrobes, except for Sarah's work.
I would have loved to have seen the wardrobes, that were being extended into the verandah area, anyway.
he probably only had enough money left for an IKEA Pax wardrobe system :p
Did Alan get more closet space? Beautiful bathroom 🇨🇦
died laughing!! we all wanna know!!
I was really liking Alan until he gave Sarah that cheap pen. Love that she returned his generosity with a toilet brush.
Please stop showing the finished design at the beginning!
These shows are over 10 years old. They are what they are..it's not going to change now!
