If chanting is same as singing in the Spirit, why is it made a public thing, when Apostle Paul warned and taught that praying and singing in Spirit should be done privately, NOT even in church meetings, unless there is interpretation? This Chant trend is a manifestation of the immaturity and disregard of present generation of both Church members and ministers. Scripturally, it is NOT powered by the Holy Spirit, Who inspired Apostle Paul to forbid its public display.
This is singing in expressible by words, sounds inspired by the Holy spirit, it's not tongues.
