No... Chipper cash will auto convert for you your currency to the currency you want to pay.. for example, if you have Kenyan shillings and want to pay US Dollars, chipper cash will automatically do the converting for you

When creating the card there is a small fee here in Uganda it is about 1000 UGX and that fee is deducted from your existing Ballance on chipper cash.
