See this behavior quite often on posts of notable people. Casually unquote bringing up your own work. The reason it is worth insulting is because it combines extreme desperation which nobody likes with like this assumption that you are in the same group as the people's video youre commenting on which is distasteful and delusional
I'm just saying you know as someone who is spammed my own work at people since before you were probably born. I understand your motivations and I also understand why everyone thinks it's crass and stopped to make a rude comment.
Like I just wish people understood that you can't point to a successful musical act or comedian who how did you come up? I left self-agrandizing comments on more successful established acts CZcams videos. It's just not a thing.
People thinking it's crass is definitely a thing though you know. As someone who literally doesn't care what other people think and spams people all the time to try and get attention. I still know not to like act cool after I do it, you know what I mean
