I have the ctl 6100, and I believe it or a smaller version of it should be rated aswell. I don't think it was compatible with the hawku drivers initially but I worked around that by adding it to a .ini file manually. With that done it feels as good as a cth-480, which I used for when I was most active between 2014-2016.
I cant believe this is the first binfy video I watched and then saw all the osu content and then got addicted to streams and met the wholesome yet sus chat, excluding leila who is best mod

I have Gaomon S56K with rechargeable pen and it feels veery good to play on this tablet.

overall its good for flow aim because it has smoothing but not really good for jumps
I'm not use the tablet area, i just adjusted the sensitivity in osu.
But it has the best name
Btw, in the new Huion driver update I'm pretty sure they have something called "game mode" which makes your tablet have a low latency, I kind of like it I guess. I have to use play to osu! with raw input because of my aim being shaky.
hah, I've had the CTH-480 for years now, it's so good and works with the hawku driver
after using the h420 for months now, the review is spot on, it has some heavy smoothening, but you get used to it, and the pen is rather heavy, but you eventually get used to that too
As a fellow Huion 420 owner too, yeah its spot on and u get used to these cons pretty quick. But now im getting a Veikk s640

Watch out for the XP-Pen G640, they have stopped creating the original version and started shipping a "rev B" version. This has a lot of hardware smoothening and decreased hz from 266 to 200. Just thought i would let people know because i recently came across a video about it

there is a solution for this is that you order the tablet from its official website and type down "800IC" on order remarks for a guaranteed "rev A" version

Got my first tablet which was xp pen g640 and damn it's good and all you need to do is plug it in and it doesn't need batteries
I use the xp pen g430s, it's my first tablet and it works well for a first tablet

What you don’t know is that 420 actually has an outstanding reading height of 15mm, that’s way more than 10mm which basically every competitors have (stupid Wacom even have just 7mm) so if you are a not touching surface player then it’s a huge advantage

What's your opinion on the Wacom CTL-4100? I've recently got one myself and I love it, the only problem was the surface since it's not really the smoothest, but the area I use is small so it's smoothed out by me dragging

@@blungoo Yes. I got it in about ~1 week and the only issue was with the pen nib. Would probably exercise more caution than I did especially as this is "coronavirus season" after all.
honestly I just use the xp-pen g430s on absolute mode and only change ingame sensitivity, works well enough.

I used to have xp pen g640, it's very good for both hovering and dragging, but my only probably was since it didn't have a high hover height, idk of it went down over time, but when I checked the hover height, it was less than 10mm, so I switch to. cth because the hover height was higher.

You can also use the anti-smoothing in hawku, it's the best if you play more DT than nomod.

Not sure if you still reply to comments on this vid but i was wondering if you or someone else who sees this could explain a bit more in depth on what smoothening is, i think i have an idea but im not quite sure.
I use a wacom intuos ctl-4100 to play osu! The main reason I decided to buy it was because I really wanted a tablet, but most tablets don't ship to Argentina, so I just asked a friend of mine (who's a graphic designer) for some advice and she recommended wacom tablets.... And this was basically the only new tablet I found online inside my country. And I highly recommend it. I guess... I'm 6 digits and this is the only tablet I have ever tried, this could be the best tablet in the world or the worst tablet in the world and I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Tbh the reason I couldn't investigate any further before buying is that I'm a fucking moron and I couldn't find the specific model of the tablet in the description. So I just searched for "wacom intuos"... Turns out there are several different wacom intuos tablets. Also I can't even tell if it's expensive or not, because the argentinian peso has lost so much value since I bought my tablet and so many restrictions and fees had been applies to dollars and outside products that it's almost impossible to compare............................ But I can now play with tablet and it feels better than with mouse, so I can't complain.

I tested all of the tablets using both hawku and their own specified drivers - but for the video specifically all the tablets were on hawku drivers! Sorry I forgot to mention that in the video.

I bought it 7 months ago it's really good bro.
I've used the G430 version (same just smaller and a little less response time) since December 2017 (1 fucking year 3 months ago) and havent switched area, grip or anything alike.
Using hawku drivers the tablet is very good, especially price. But I have indeed noticed Hardware smoothing, which you cannot fix unless you're some sort of electrical expert and open the shit up and fix it. It's still a very good tablet, my first and still using it. Though I'm getting a CTL/CTH 480 on my Birthday hopefully.
Really recommend it, especially for first time tablet users.

a tablet doesn't define you as a player, your skill does. Just a heads up before you decide to buy something you might regret in the long run as it might not work out for everyone.
