  • Getting ready for INSPECTION | House Build E.p114
    When building a house you need to order enough materials to get the job done. I forget to do this and have to order more pea shingle to get the drainage ready for inspection. After some good grafting we get the job done. Hope you enjoy the video

    man, you are clearly not afraid of hard graft! Bravo. With Casey just sitting there, I would have been tempted to leave that job until he was fixed. great filming by the way!

    Good job mate! I was wondering & I’ve always wanted to ask but would you be willing to do a episode or just part of an episode were you explain how you’ve funded all this & how much it’s all cost? I’ve always been intrigued haha, obviously you don’t have to and I’ll respect that, but thought I’d ask!😃😃😃

    I admire your persaverance and can relate to doing all the work yourself. The first house I built, I had little to no help except from my Dad, and on occassion a couple buddies. It is a lot of work, so I hope you are getting some breaks from it for you sanity.

      It is oddly satisfying pushing it over with your boot 🤣 Just need ol' Casey back to cover them in and flatten the whole back garden. That's what I'm looking forward to the most! 😁👍

    Nice vid great editing. Just wondered if the bricks should have come out from under the pipe as you went along with the shingle as it would have kept the pipe on the same fall with less stress points under the pipe. Watch all the brick tutorials. Great 👍👍

    Wow I thought you had a lot of P shingle as well Yh today’s weather was horrible I was moving bulk bag of building sand it was very uncomfortable Nice little path you made that for the Barrow and it’s good to see that you’re guttering it’s working very good Nice one wow PGR is very quick for bulk delivery

    You should have just put the sand back in. It’s only if it’s rubbish spoil that can pierce the pipe and leave cavities. That sand would have been perfect to compact round the pipe. But FairPlay for sticking to code!!!
    Do it right do it once good job!!!!

    The top of that drain/p-trap looks the same height as the pipe that it connects to?

  • @Scribe3168
    @Scribe3168 Před 3 lety

    You could’ve just back filled it with the sand you took out. Pea shingle for earth and clay I reckon.
