Bought the r2500 in Oct. Its seen a few power outages since then. No issues. Very quiet even when fans are working full out which isn't very often unless its got max load connected to it. UPS works great . Manual lacks info. I've tested with max load and it performed perfectly. Still can't get the wifi to connect but bluetooth works great. There's a tech on youtube that does a review after taking it apart to examine the build quality and components. Well worth the watch for those needed to know it build quality. Great presentation Gavin. Those in need of having a quick detach cover for their plugs, just get you some double sided hook and loop strips (velcro) and sew on any cloth or even rubber, and be good to go.
Can you keep it plugged into AC charging but configure it to not charge via AC unless the battery reaches a threshold? This would also mean it prioritizes solar charging when available and only draw AC when necessary.

I like it because it takes up to 150 volts and 1000 watts of solar.
