Adam was the best offensive rebounder in the league before he got hurt and Clarke was their best player off the bench. Those guys were apart of their identity and core. And Ja injured his hand before the playoffs, he played through it and injured it more in game 2

I always prefer them saying it like it was originally said as well. I guess it depends on who they are, what the quote is, and if they have an international audience. You and I can easily determine the meaning of slang if we don't already know it. Same with different cultural and regional colloquialisms, accents and speech patterns. I can only imagine how confusing it would be to non-native English speakers though. Even something like 'what's up?' would be confusing if you translated it from English using the literal definitions. There are just some things my white ass can't say or imitate without being wildly offensive. That's a mine field my fellow Caucasians should probably just avoid. 😂
