I personally think the grouping in Resolume is bit complicated.. but that together with the video routing sure is helpful!

Can I change the Output Monitor preview to be a different slice or layer or screen?
Unfortunately not, the Output window will only show the composition output. It would be great if you could.
Sometimes if I have a spare gpu output I make my own multiview screen
@@mith Thanks. I have a layer with song lyrics from an NDI source, and want it to go on only the main output screen and the 'preview', but not the second output screen. Am using Avenue with the layer bypassed but added back to the main output as a slice. Would there be a better way?

Im not too sure, but i imagine this would be a limitation of Avenue.
Arena is what you need to get multiple slices and output mapping

Resolume's routing can get quite complicated especially because there is no overview of what is going where.
The start of the video is Resolume's basic layer routing and then I go into more elaborate pipelines.
I tried to keep this video as simple as possible whilst demonstrating just how complicated things can get.
If there is a specific purpose you have in mind, let me know and ill do my best to help.
