    1:38 that's a "stack bond" (the one that's not offset), it's possible, too, BUT! never as a load bearing wall, but as a decorative "garden wall" or a masonry _veneer_ or house facade (it can look good, if done right)

    *Note: bonds are two bricks thick (English and Flemish especially),so they bond by interlacing. Stretcher bond (american bond) is only a veneer unless using ~8x8 brick.

    If english bond as you say is "alternating header and stretcher courses" why does your video graphic show a first course of stretchers?? . Does not make sense. 2:53
