Anshuman's mother sees him upset and assures him that his decision of accepting his grandmother's decision regarding his marriage is bound to prove fruitful for him. Meanwhile, Suman reminds Surbhi that she has got just three days to get rid of Varun but Surbhi surprises her mother when she reveals that she wants to marry Varun as he is the most suitable man for her. Meanwhile, Varun sees Bhoomi upset and decides to take Surbhi's help to solve his sister's problems. He calls up Surbhi to take her help but Bhoomi stops him. Varun, however, asks Surbhi to arrange a meeting between Bhoomi and Maan and Surbhi agrees to this. Next day, the 'haldi' ceremony begins and both Varun and Bhoomi get 'haldi' applied on their faces to mark the holy rituals related to marriage. Varun later gives a letter to his mother, who is going to Maan's house with 'haldi', and asks her to give the letter to Maan. The Prajapatis are a respectable upper class family with an established family business headed by Vasundhara Prajapati 'Bhabahi ma' who is also the decision maker in all the important aspects related to her family members. In contrast to it are The Shuklas who are a traditional upper middle class family with a business in gems and stones. Bhoomi, one of the daughters in the family of The Shuklas has been raised as a protected child and was imparted a good education. In a series of surprising events Bhoomi's marriage is fixed with Vasundhara's nephew Ayushmaan who were already in love. But when their traditional families find out about this, they feel cheated and Bhoomi and Ayushmaan lives turn topsy-turvy trying to win the families over.
