Wow, great info. I seal my homemade wooden swimbaits superglue. Granted it's under the primer, paint and epoxy clear coat, it's still something to think about going forward. I dont use them in salt water, but many do.

Please tell which Super Glue you have bought. Because now a days so many is flooded in the market but quality is very poor. Shop immediately cut a feviquick but that doesn't give solution for every problem.

You do know that superglue is used in surgery to bind tissue together without stitches? It's also used on the battlefield for emergency closing of wounds.

You only get heat like that if it soaks into something, i.e. a paper towel, kleenex, fabric, a bit of cotton, sawdust, etc., or if you cure it fast with super glue accelerator. Absent any of that, gluing your fingers together doesn't generate enough heat to hurt you.

Many people dont have nail polish remover on hand. Not to mention this is much easier and alot safer than acetone.
